Interesting concept.  I'm enjoying it so far and I am curious to see where this leads.  Decent writing that has kept me intrigued.

Good conversation between the two. It seemed real & true to the show, not fake.  Good writing skills. Great paragraph, really captured Dean & his strong emotions for Sam & his fears: Dean let a small, bitter smile pass over his face. He understood that. Of course he did. It was the reason he had made that deal in the first place. Not because it was his job. Not even because he loved his brother more that he had ever loved or ever would love another person. He had done it because he, Dean Winchester, was afraid of being alone. Because he did not want to face living in a world that didn’t have Sam in it. Sam gave him a reason, a purpose. Sam was his anchor. He was the only one who had ever loved him unconditionally, or at least the only one who had ever made that clear to him. So really, Sam was right.
Really like Dean's revelation of the consequences of his actions on Sam & how he had made the deal for himself & not for Sam & he had convinced himself.  Nice rapport between the brothers.

Your writing is strong & paints a descriptive picture that really brings to life the events.

You definitely had me completely interested with all the suspense.  You let enough slip to keep me wanting more & curious to see where it was going, but still kept the mystery.  Can't wait to see where this leads!

That whole 1st paragraph made me pause. It was so touching & the writing was incredible.  You really captured the scene, feelings & emotions emanating from Dean.  Hands down one of the best post-All Hell Breaks Loose (Part 1) fics that I've read (trust me, there are a lot out of there too). Truly heartbreaking w/ Dean "talking to" & "fixing" SamParticularly liked these sentences, they really grabbed & stuck with me: Footsteps approached rapidly, slowed, faltered, and finally stopped, and still he rocked, his grip tightening, unwilling to let go, unable to look into the still, dead face. He'd failed. He'd been too late. He closed his eyes and pulled his brother crushingly close, desperately trying to feel one more heartbeat, one more breath. But the life that had been his to nurture and protect was gone, ripped from his world in an instant of blinding pain. Excellent descriptions!!: Cold raindrops spattered into the desolate street, and lightning sheeted across the sky, heralding the approaching storm. Boots shuffled against the damp ground, and a calloused hand came out of the dark to rest on his shoulder.

As for there being a lot out there - yes, I was quite worried that my co-author and I had missed the boat by the time she was ready to send me the two flashbacks that appear in the full version over on sn.tv. Great imagery:  And now Dean was going to die, and what could Sam do but sit and watch the sand sift through the hour glass? In that final moment, when the last grain fell, what the hell was he supposed to do?         &  He heard Dean talking to him. How long had they been talking? Sam’s vision was a fish darting in and out of filtered sunlight, fading and blurring as his older brother’s words washed upon his consciousness.   The end was so heavy (in a good way).  Perfect ending, really tied everything together & gave it more substance, more power to the whole story. 

You took a simple concept – silence, and you turned it into a very nice story.  It really said something and the whole feel was kind of poetic.

Noooo!! Not the Impala! You write the banter b/w the brothers really well.  I could totally picture Dean going through all this trouble for the Impala, and of course, the world was conspiring against him.

Aww…poor Dean, I want to kiss his wounds & make it all better (yes – I know what I said & I'm sticking to it!) 

I am thoroughly enjoying this story (both in terms of plot – very unique & original - and writing), I'm completely sucked in!  Extremely eager to see where this is headed!

Awww…that was so sweet!! You portrayed the boys perfectly!! I love how they interacted and what they said, it was very true to the show & the characters.  This was very well written and I felt touched by it.  The ending was perfection!! Loved it! Loved it!

I love, love, love, LOVE this story!  It's an incredibly original & unique story.  It's incredibly well written & very twisted (in a good way).

This story had great twists that kept me hooked & intrigued - definitely interested in where each paragraph & chapter was leading.  

Great rapport and natural brotherly chemisty written (when they are getting along & fighting).

 I absolutely can't wait to see what happens from here.  

Ohhh, I was hooked from the beginning.  Great writing (especially the way you write the brothers).  Good descriptions that paint a vivid picture.  Good storyline too, you kept me intrigued throughout the whole story.  Good characterization of Sam (sweet – when he needs to be, but lethal and dangerous if you get on his bad side).  Can’t wait to see where this headed!

You take simple and/or everyday events and make them stronger and more vivid due to your writing. Example:

Sam licked his lips nervously and blew out a puff of air turned visible by the rapidly cooling Autumn weather. His senses tingled, alive and singing of thrill and of danger. Out of the corner of his eye he caught a dark blur heading straight for his brother.

Decent story, I am curious to see where this leads and what happens from here.
