I was hoping they didn't take Dean's leg, but truthfully it makes perfect sense, and now that I've read this chapter I believe it was the best way to go. And you're right, I'm sure Dean's strong enough to overcome this. :) I loved how you described Sam's guilt, and Dean's anger, which is perfectly understandable... It's gonna be pretty angsty from now on, looking forward to that :) Awesome chapter, and awesome story. 10/10

Date: 11/05/09 Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 You gave him cancer! You gave him cancer!! *flails* *Calms down enough to write an actual review...* The moment I read Oncology I stopped breathing. I don't know how I managed to finish the chapter... I've read them getting stabbed and shot and tossed around and getting their ribs broken and getting cut with infections but cancer! *sniffs* The worst is that it makes so much sense... And then Sam's journal was just heartbreaking! Poor Sammy, and poor Dean reading all of that, and feeling guilty over punching him, and not being with his brother...*sniff* And I just know the letter is going to finish me off, isn't it? God, this is such an awesome story... I hope Sam gets well and they go back to being brothers like they used to! I need a happy ending because I have a feeling the Show's not gonna give us one! Really, really Looking forward to the next chapter. Author's Response: Hello and welcome! Yes, we gave him cancer - with all that pain every time Sam used his powers, and the blood running from his nose, we just let our evil minds wander off, and they came back dragging this scenario..... So pleased - in an evil sort of way - that you loved the peek into Sam's mind via the journals. There's lots more good stuff where that came from. And yes, I have to say, the letter just might finish you off - I had tears in my eyes when I was writing it..... but I'm such a softie, it's not surprising. When Sam cries, I cry...*shrugs*.... but you won't be finished off until the end of chapter 10 - that's when the letter makes its appearance. So you've got some time to stock up on tissues. As for a happy ending - well, I'm a hopeless Pollyanna, and Petra is addicted to Mills & Boon endings - and there is that little picture in the story banner.... Jules

Date: 11/08/09 Title: Chapter 15: Chapter 15 "He couldn't be one hundred percent certain, because it had been a long time since he had received that particular look from his brother. But he could have sworn that Sam had just hugged him with his eyes." This line killed me DEAD. I had been pretty much fighting the lump in my throat for a while, until this came along and I was all but done for. Then, the whole "I wanna come home" thing had me blinking back tears, but ssmiling at the same time, especially when Sammy fell asleep on Dean's shoulder. That was an adorable image. And from then on it was pretty much goofy giggling and silly smiling from my part and weird stares from my sister, but I loved every second of this. It's SO good to have them finally be brothers again. Thank you! I'm really glad you're all on board and healthy, bringing us this amazing chapter. You were missed! Date: 11/08/09 Title: Chapter 18: Epilogue Part 2 I can't believe it's over! ... I need a moment... *grabs tissues* Well, W.O.W. What an AMAZING and epic journey you took us on, girls. Thank you for putting the effort and dedication you put into this, and for bringing us a mind-blowing chapter every week! It was certainly something that brightened up my friday nights, and now that it's over I can't help feeling a little sad. But, really, what a story! You have outdone yourselves with this one here... I laughed, cried, giggled, gasped, may have ignored some people that were talking to me while I was reading this... I can't think of a better way to have spent the months waiting for season 5 than reading such a great story. The brothers are finally going home! You sure know how to put them through the wringer. Two and a half years apart AND cancer! I think Kripke may be rubbing off on your muses, they sure know how to torture the poor boys! But it was all worth it at the end, and if something like this had happened on the show, I wouldn't have had it any other way. I absolutely loved all the new characters you brought to the story. Sam's "girls" were lovely, especially Ginny, and Grace is a great character, loved that she ended up with Sammy. Beautifully written story, and perfect descriptions. I still can't get over the way I could picture every single scene, face, line and expression that Sam and Dean made. Majorly angsty but funny and sweet too, everything I love about the real show.
