Have you written or do you have plans to write any more stories of Jessica protecting Sam now that she's a ghost? Author's Response: HI! Thanks so much for the comments! No, as of this moment, I don't have plans for a Jessica Ghost story. Had mostly put that in because we saw her again in Provenance (I believe), so that gave me the idea she was still around. But you never know, my muse does what it wants. :P

Date: 06/09/07 Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 2 I too am really enjoying this story. Reading about young Dean and Sam is refreshing. My only gripe has nothing to do with this story but is about the fact that I keep finding fascinating stories on this forum that I fall in love with only to discover that they are still works in progress. It would be sooooo good if all the talented writers out there could give us some idea when the next chapter will be posted. I don't want to sound cross I'm just a frustrated reader that hates waiting for the next installment of anything especially great stories like this one. I'm beggng here please tell me when I can come back and read the rest. Thank you. Author's Response: So glad you're enjoying Midge. As far updating I can only promise that I'll do my best. I've got four stories going and I try and take turns posting, that said, I'm about to wrap up my Snowbound soooo.. I'm thinking I'll update this middle of next week. Date: 11/10/07 Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6 Hi Kwater, Am enjoying this story way more than I expected to. In the previous chapter I love the line "though for the most part the girls that cornered her in various parts of the school wanted nothing more than details on Dean. " I can so see that happening. However, this last chapter felt disappointing but I can't work out why. It's probably nothing more than it's quite short and I'm impatient for more. I hope the fact that it is short just means the next chapter will be here so much sooner.

It does start out that way, but if you take two Winchesters, add two young ladies, stir in an old, old threat, and add a pinch of visions, what sifts out isn't going to be sugar cookies. Now it will take help for both to survive, and asking for help just isn't easy... Spoilers through the end of season 2.

The 'Nick' twist at the end was a mega surprise, even if I never did believe the Nick Bobby met was the same Nick Dean had been working with. Enjoyed this story enough to have read in one day, naughtily ignoring the beta-ing I should be doing. Author's Response: Maybe the same Nick, maybe not - but if she is Dean needs to keep one eye firmly over his shoulder! And I doubt it will be the last time I read it. It is brutal, violent even gross, but balanced by love, understanding and good winning against evil. Somehow it's uplifting to read. I love the brother moments. You convey so well the understanding between Dean and Sam, the way they communicate so much without words is beautifully written, an absolute joy to read. In fact it was much much better than I expected, and I loved the twist that Dean phoned Jess every month and then they pretended never to have met. Wonderful. I've always thought all that childhood training must have shown up somewhere in Sam's life at Stanford - killing someone whilst defending Jess just sounds so right. Well done on a very well crafted story.

Date: 13/04/08 Title: Chapter 14: Chapter 14 Found this story from the header / warning for the Weak and Weary and now wonder how I could have missed such wonderful writing all this time. Whilst I wonder what Rowan real intentions are, I find myself liking him. And I just know Jax is going to be good for Sam, give him a purpose and a nearly willing 'punch bag' whilst he's hurting. Now I'm rushing off to read the Weak and the Weary and hoping we'll get to catch up with all the new characters aswell as Sam, Dean and Bobby. |
