Del Villar was dead, killed by his challenger, a more powerful alpha male. Dean was in charge now, whether he wanted to be or not." Loved this line! All I can say is wow, that was so intense! Yay, Del Villar is dead! I especially enjoyed Carter's point of view of Dean after the fight with Del Villar and how Dean was running on pure instinct to find Sam. And Tim was great too. I hope we see a bit more of him before all this comes to a close. Fantastic job Laura!

Demons lie and twist the truth to fit what they want their prey to believe, to weaken them. I always think of Sidious and Anakin actually when the lies of demons are brought up because its always seems to be a twisted form of the truth that is the downfall of great men or women. Dean was released from his deal and the brothers have fought their way through legions of demons. Finally they end up in a sort of endgame fight with a particularly nasty demon. This story covers the aftermath of that endgame. Warning: Character death and use of a name that was first mentioned (I think) in Jus in Bello. Not sure if that qualifies as a spoiler so I'm warning you anyway. BTW: every time I've previewed this there's been a heap of names in the series field.
