Yeah!  Sister Anne to the rescue!  I'm so pleased Lacey has now really joined the dearly departed....she was one super-baddie, so very cruel and vindictive.

I loved your description of the graveyard, particularly "There were ancient trees, huge twisted trunks, black in the misty morning, reaching gnarled fingers over the gravestones."  Such atmospheric scene setting, excellent stuff.

At last Dean gets to kick some supernatural ass.  I loved the way you've portrayed his confusion in the hospital, where none of the words have made sense to him, a real sense of his desperation and total collapse at the thought of Sammy gone.  Poor Sam , at least now he'll be able to feel the benefits of the pain meds.

Oh, that was just beautiful, made me cry!!  Your "You've used up your quota" paragraph, set me off, and then when they finally get to the beach just finished me off....lol

I loved your portrayal of Sam struggling up through the layers of consciousness and how important his contact with Dean was to his recovery.  I was delighted that they decided to take some time off to go to the beach after their phone call from Bobby.  I guess all they need to do now is save Dean from his impending doom and all will be well, baring a few Demons here and there.

Thank you for this roller-coaster ride over the past ten chapters.  You sure do know how to wring out the torment.  Great story.  Thanks J

I was all set to write my review, when you mention chocolate covered Winchesters (mmmh, mmmh) and get me all distracted!!  Well, you certainly deserve at least one of each variety for this awesome chapter.

I just love Sam in ultra protective mode and hurt Dean trapped halfway down a cliff, broken, bleeding, concussed - at least he's got his phone now, even if Sam is 15 hours away.  Not to mention all those recently retrieved, dangerous items, scattered throughout the car.  Oh there's just so much that could go horribly wrong!!

The letter to Sammy was beautiful and one waiting for Dean, do we get to read that one?

Oh I just love the way you just get Dean all nice and settled and cosied up in Sam's fleece, then just when my guard goes down, there's some manic, Russian, red-eyed, fanged beasty sitting in the Impala waiting for a nice warm snack!!

Brilliant conversations going on, great humour/snark/bitching, then a panicing Bobby to really calm us down.  Wonderful pace and tension!  J.

Ooh just what did 'Ole Bo' have clutched in his hands that Sam's now got a hold of??  Off to a great start here, loved the humour, dialogue and lovesick Sammy.  It's always good to see the softer side of John and Dean as multi-faceted as ever.  Looking forward to the next one.  J

What on earth would they do without Dean to look after them all?  Besotted Sam is a joy to behold, it's a lovely illustration of teenage boy reduced to quivering wreck.  Dean's gentle humour and encouraging words of wisdom were just what Sam needed.

I was wondering when 'Ole Bo' was going to pay a visit, I feel it would be a little optimistic to assume he's come to offer Sam some advice on his love-life!!...lol

Loved this chapter with love-struck, chivalrous Sam, I'm so pleased Katie seems just as smitten.  Shame 'Ole Bo' seems just as determined to stick to Sam....lol.

I love the way Dean deflects John's anger away from Sam and manages to keep reassuring Sam all the time, the dialogue was priceless.  Bobby in the background was great.  J

Poor Sam, he hasn't just lost a rabbit's foot has he??....lol.  It's like one step forward and two steps back. 

Sam could really use Dean waking up about now, how much more pounding can that pretty head take?  Great update, though I think Scott got off a little too lightly, any chance he might get his comeupance?  Jane

I hope they manage to keep Ole Bo at bay, cause I don't think Sams' poor head can take much more pounding. 

I love John acting like a naughty schoolboy caught in the act when he eventually finds the locket in the car and again in the hospital when Sams' bumps are being questioned.

Your description of Dean and Johns' different approaches to trying to rouse Sam from unconsciousness, really manages to sumarize their relationships to each other.  Thanks for another great chapter, Jane

So Ole Bo is putting up a fight, right to the end.  Hopefully the four of them should be enough to put him down for good this time!!

I love sleepy, forgetful Sam trying to act like a stroppy teen but not quite managing it.

Loved the snub, "Missed me?Who...Who are you?"  I know Sam couldn't really remember but she so deserved that one!!  I liked the way her eyes, squinting up in anger at Dean, made Sam doubt her prettiness as well.  All in all, a very satisfactory conclusion, thanks for the epilogue.  Jane

You've managed to convey that totally awful, time stopping, breath taking horror that comes with news such as this.  Deans' immediate anger and denial and Sams' confusion perfectly captures the moment. 

This is beautiful writing but so very sad, I loved Caleb and Dean together..... don't suppose there's any chance they've made a mistake??
