I loved the way John was chopping his way through that coven and then the short but sweet meeting with Derrick!!  I hope Abigail isn't going to make it too far though, as I don't like the sound of all that carving into Dean. 

I was just getting ready for a nice happy rescue and reunion and you go and drop a burning beam onto John's head, just couldn't resist another cliffie huh?  Great stuff.

Beautiful line "John flung himself over Dean's body, curled protectively over his child as the debris hissed into his back."  Nice to see the terrified Dad side of John, willing to face anything to save his boys but too scared to approach the still body of Dean, in case his worst fears are realised.

Please update soon, you can't leave them smouldering away for too long.  Jane

Ahh, all safely back together again, such a feeling of contentment when the boys were chilling together in the garden.

It's been a real pleasure to follow this story through to the end, and the thought of a sequel later is the icing on the cake!!

I loved the scene in the hospital where Dean is just regaining consciousness, such a pleasant change to see John as a worried, caring Dad.  As always Deans first thoughts with Sam, I was cheering away when he found out that Sam was alive and well.

Poor Dean, he's managed to upset an archangel, a fellow guardian and the Child of Hope thinks he looks 'kinda mean' - no credit cards, no car and no Sam.  Well at least he's not been dragged down to hell!!

Oh, I think Jax could be just what a grieving Sam needs, that "My brother's dead" must have hurt.  I guess they both need each other.

I love the idea of Sam taking Jax under his wing, training up a new hunter, particularly as he's shaping up to be as snarky and smart-mouthed as Dean.  I loved the dialogue with Bobby, very funny.

Wow, you have some real major league players popping in for a bit of heavenly intervention.  I love the way your Archangels are such instantly imposing, powerful characters.....I think Sam needs a bit of a faith and hope boost about now!!

So much pain and anguish at the start, where Sam's using Jax as a punchbag and Jax is goading him on, a much darker chapter than their previous one together.  Jax has certainly got some guts and a familiar stubborn loyalty to not give up on his brother.

Oh, the plot thickens!!  Deals with vampires to protect Sammy, I'm getting bad vibes about this one - but I guess if it gets Joshua back and keeps Sam safe.  I can see Lucifer isn't really going to appreciate the finer points of this deal!!

It was nice to see Rowan totally underestimate our Dean - big mistake....lol.  Bizarrly, I'm starting to quite take to Rowan - as baddies go, he really is quite charming....

What's happening with Joshua, has he had a hot meal yet or got any shoes to fit him?  I'm kinda missing the little guy.

Who said there were no shades of grey?  I love it, crime-fighting, vigilante, brothel-running vamps!!.....lol.  I knew there was a reason I was starting to like Rowan - I guess there's just the small problem of him and his buddies getting all threatening to Dean and Joshua.  I say make the deal!!  Who's it going to upset - Lucifer, Michael, Sam??

I was delighted to see this new story from you and what a gem it is.  I love Caleb and Dean together and this came from a really original angle with Dean wanting to give up hunting, he must have been pushed to the limits to feel that way. 

I really enjoyed the interaction with Moose, a really sweet character and the realisation at the end that Dean is never going to have 'normal' himself.  There was a fantastic build up of tension the closer they got back to John and the meeting was no let down - he sure is scary when he's mad.

Such a lovely start with Sam getting ready for his date and Dean loving every minute of it.  Nice relaxing evening for them both - then the gradual build up of tension.  You can feel Dean (and Galen) starting to climb the walls. 

Great action scene of the accident, poor Sam and Susannah, this really can't be good.

Not content with just one cliffhanger, we now have two, one past, one present!!...lol

This was such an incredibly tense, traumatic chapter but so beautifully written.  I had to go back and read it again, as first time I was swept along just needing to know what had happened and the second time to savour the sights, sounds and details of each moment.

Dean's emotional turmoil is heart-breaking.  I've just got tohead on to the next chapter.  Thanks J

Still sobbing here.....Sam in agony, Dean thinking of letting him go, could there be any more guilt and angst?!!

I love the way the flashbacks keep leading Dean back to what I hope will be saving Sam again this time.  My favourite scenes have got to be Dean in the chapel, on the verge of total breakdown, just barely hanging in there.... 

The Dean/John scenes have been so tenderly protrayed, it's good to see the softer side of John.

Just when I'm thinking there's light at the end of the tunnel - now that Dean realises that he has to go and get rid of Lacey - you go and disconnect Sam and throw him across the room..... How on earth are they going to get out of this one??

At the moment I'm just clutching at your "I don't do Death Fics", please mend Sammy and let Dean go kick some ghostly butt!!....lol
