 Date: 16/12/07 Title: Chapter 21: Chapter 21 Great chapter! I just love watching Sam take care of Dean's various and sundry wounds. I feel bad for Dean having to chew all those pills--that's gotta be nasty--but he'll do it 'cause he doesn't want to go to the hospital. For whatever reason, I really liked it when Dean had to show his brother his back to prove why he can't go to the hospital. Sooo--is this really Dad? Huh? Huh? Huh? (hehe--I sound like I'm 5 y/o.) Author's Response: That's ok, nothing wrong with a little age regression (It happens to me all the time) All I can say about the person at the door is hmmm...what do you think? Date: 18/12/07 Title: Chapter 21: Chapter 21 Well, here I am again reading this chapter for the 4th or 5th time. :-) I think I come back when I need a little "fix". I love the part where Dean's weakly trying to get out of the tub and away from the cold water. There's just something about that little sentence that shouts just how sick and vulnerable he is. Sam doesn't realize yet that Dean's fingers are messed up because rats were gnawing on them, does he? Will he find out rats were chewing on his brother? (Don't mind me--I'm having angst/guilt fantasies in my head. hehehehe) Author's Response: I can't tell you enough how much that puts a smile on my face. I need that little fix every now and then too, just something about Dean in wet boxers that screams nasty little things in my head. I have those angst/guilt fantasies all the time, dont' worry. I almost forgot about the rats, I guess I gotta work that in somewhere, don't I?

Date: 19/12/07 Title: Chapter 22: Chapter 22 Well, I liked it if that's any help. I'm so glad to see Sam suspicious that that thing is not his father. I also really liked the part where Dean almost threw up (I'm such a freak, I was hoping he would--which is just twisted. hehe)
Author's Response: Keep those hopes up, I have a feeling you are going to get your wish! And I agree, it is nice to see Sam's head is finally out of his a$$. Let's hope it stays there. And I'm glad you liked it, because I reread it yet again and I still think it's missing something (and not just vomit either, ha ha)

Date: 20/12/07 Title: Chapter 22: Chapter 22 He felt the tug on the back of his shirt before he heard or saw anything else, his upper body twisting fully around to watch what was going on behind him as Dean struggled to rise onto his hands and knees, his stomach visibly clenching over and over, each contraction of muscles causing his shoulders to hunch and his chest the lurch as he fought the need to expel whatever it was that had crawled into his stomach and was now trying to work it’s way out. This is the part that I keep returning to. (Yes, partly because I'm twisted as I mentioned before. hehe) Your description is dead on--I can practically SEE Dean's stomach muscles contracting and his shoulders lurching. (Can actually hear it too because I imagine he'd be making those sounds--kinda like soft grunting--which we all do when we're getting ready to be sick.) But, it's here that you illustrate Dean's vulnerability so well. We all know how sick he is, but here we virtually see him walking a tightrope and we await with bated breath to see if he's going to "fall". I can just imagine what's going on in Dean's fevered brain. When your that sick and in such misery, your mind does funny things. If and when I'm ever that sick, I always ending up wishing for my mother to be there with me. (Yeah, again I'm weird.) Author's Response: At least the twisted are in good company!! And WOW, the thought of those grunting sounds coming from Dean just make me....ok, gotta stop there! And Hey, there's nothing wrong with being weird either!!

Date: 24/12/07 Title: Chapter 23: Chapter 23 Oh wow. I "think" I know what may be happening to Dean. Poor baby. Super fantastic update, Strigoi. A wonderful Christmas present for me. Date: 30/12/07 Title: Chapter 24: Chapter 24 Woo hoo! What a freakin' fantastic chapter. Dean throwing up blood--so not good. His screaming just brought home how deadly this all is. And when he gave Sam "permission" to get him to a hospital--ooohh--that was just so telling. And Dean finally whispering to Sam what he needed to about Jay because he thinks he's going to be dead soon--man, that just took my breath away. I hate to see this one come to an end. But it has been a wonderfully exciting ride. Author's Response: Thanks a million, I am so glad that it's exciting to the end! I will hate to see it come to an end to, it's been so much fun torturing Dean (Wow, I really am a freak, aren't I?)

Date: 05/01/08 Title: Chapter 25: Chapter 25 Wow--just wow. Yay!! I'm so glad to get the hospital ER chapter. I loved every single solitary second of it. And, oh man, what an ominous cliffy. I can't wait till you give us the next (and last, I presume) chapter. This is one of those stories that you just wish could go on forever. :-) Thanks so much for giving it to us, StrigoiVii. Author's Response: Well, don't know about forever, but it has been a lot of fun. I must say thanks to you again, you have supported this crazy story pretty much the whole way. Date: 16/01/08 Title: Chapter 27: Epilogue Holy freakin' cow--what an ending! You sly woman. Is there definitely going to be a sequel? This was a fantastic epilogue. Everything I could hope for in an ending. There are so many great scenes/lines I can't name 'em all. I loved the "Daddy's home". The part where Sam was talking to Dean and Dean woke up long enough to wipe away the few tears on Sam's face--that was heartwrenching and priceless. Again, I just want to tell you how very much I loved this story. It has been one that I've enjoyed every single moment reading. Author's Response: Thank you so much Vanessa! I am so happy that you loved this whacked out story. For a while I thought it was a little overboard, but I guess all us hurtDean junkies didn't think so! As for a sequel, well, gotta think that one over, but I did intentionally leave the door open for it. (Maybe someone else wants to write the sequel? Hee Hee) As much as I keep repeating myself, I'm just going to say thank you one more time for all the great reviews! They mean more to me then everyone knows!!! Summary: Failing in their attempt to take some time out, the brothers decide to investigate a supposedly haunted building in a small town, and Sam finds something quite unexpected.

Date: 01/02/08 Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 Did all hell break lose again? Terrific update, Louy. Loved it. My favorite part: "I fink yow in trouble, boy." He enunciated the words with as much menace as he could through swollen gums, spitting blood and saliva as he spoke. …and then he stilled as he felt the faintest wisp of breath against his neck and heard the quietest and most feral growl in his left ear. "Think again." That was superb! I don't know about Petra, but it sure tides me over!! For a little bit anyway. hehe Can't wait for the next chapter! Author's Response: Thanks so much for that, Ness. Date: 24/02/08 Title: Chapter 9: Chapter 9 A masterclass of internal design! Ahhh LOVED the update. Yay for them saving Dean! And that 2nd to last line--hehehe--loved it. That part about Mackenzie seeing all the foundations (all broken at first) and helping the two brothers rebuild them, was fantastic and exactly how I picture things to be in Dean's mind.
