 Date: 08/01/08 Title: Chapter 26: Chapter 26 YAY--Jay got what was coming to her!!! I'm absolutely thrilled! I loved this chapter. With poor Dean having to be catheterized (again) and this time it being even more painful because of the infection. (((wince))) Poor guy. When he was reaching for Sam to hold on to. (((sigh))) I loved that. Also adored the part where his eyes rolled back in his head and he crashed as his blood pressure tanked. Okay--now what's with that little cliffy????? It's gotta be that he passed out because he found Dean all better, right?? Or is there one more little twist? ((God, why do I feel hopeful at that? I really do want Dean to be better--really--honestly! I'm just a hurt!Dean junkie.))
Author's Response: Do you think I'm weird with the whole catheter thing? There's just something about the thought of poor Dean having to endure that, knowing what kind of person he is that makes me think that would be the worst possible torture for him. Oh well, anyway... All I will say is that Sam did not pass out because he found Dean all better. Come on, that would be too easy an ending, wouldn't it? I too am a hurtDean junkie and I need to throw in just a few more moments of angst in for good measure. I am really glad the ending was a good one, but it's not quite over yet.

Date: 28/10/07 Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6 Bravo! Another great update. Poor Dean thinks Sammy attacked him. But I'm curious, was it really Dean who called him? I can't imagine it if he thinks it was Sam who hurt him. Just wonderin'. Cannot wait for more. Author's Response: it was dean that called, unfortunatly not in time to stop sam from doing something stupid. as for what he was thinking, well, can't give that away yet.

I'm not so much of a romance person when it comes to SN and our boys. (Though I love to read romantic suspense novels! Weird, huh?) Date: 31/10/07 Title: Chapter 7: Chapter 7 “Jerk,” Sam retorted, as he pulled the blankets off his brother, eyes wide when he saw the red stains across the sheets. “Dean, I really think you need to see a doctor.” Wasn't expecting that (Dean dreaming that he peed and then actually having done it). But I really like it. (Yeah, I'm a sick puppy.) I dunno--I guess I like the vulnerability of it. Anyway, I liked this chapter. Knew Jay was involved somehow! Oh, and I liked the way you described Dean's concussion symptoms. Author's Response: Can you honestly say you've never had that dream before? Anyway, thank for reviewing, I really didn't like the chapter, but i had a little mental block.

Date: 03/11/07 Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 Ohhhhhh, poor, poor Dean. Now comes the emotional torture and with him hurting so bad physically this is gonna be messy all the way round. The dislocated rib was a new one for me. Sounds ridiculously, horribly painful. I think I held my breath right along with Dean. Can' wait for the next update. Date: 04/11/07 Title: Chapter 9: Chapter 9 God, the tension in this story is killin' me! It's sick that I love that Dean's gonna get worse long before he gets better. And what is it about Dean's nose bleeding that I'm suddenly enamored with. Must the ominousness (that probably isn't even a word lol) of it. And that last line!! Wow. I so can't wait for more. Date: 06/11/07 Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10 Not too much at all!! This was incredibly awesome. The terror Dean feels is so palpable. I almost feel it right along with him; my heart thunders in my ears as I read. This is edge-of-your-seat stuff, leaving one desperately waiting for the next breathtaking chapter. And now she's getting her way in sorta splitting the boys up with Dean on his way to the hospital. When it comes time for Jay to go down, please have her go down hard . . . and nasty. Gruesomely even. :-)

Date: 09/11/07 Title: Chapter 11: Chapter 11 No, need to stop Dean's torture too soon. (((grin))) This is too riveting for words. A tracheotomy?! Wow. Even if it was Jay who performed it, it was still an incredible moment. I'm scared about what's gonna happen when Dean gets to the hospital and the boys are inevitably separated. Date: 11/11/07 Title: Chapter 13: Chapter 13 Awesome. I wondered what you'd come up with that was worse than a lobotomy, and have to say--crucifixion is definitely it. The one thing that worries me is the psych eval. in the morning. Please tell me they're not gonna lock him up in the psych ward . . .

Date: 13/11/07 Title: Chapter 14: Chapter 14 Oh, God, I think my heart just stopped. Dean's in that "thing's" hands. Can you hear my anxiety filled moans from there? 'cause they're loud enough. Milder, yes. And I'm one of the crazies who misses the torture. But still it was a wonderful update. I so cannot wait for the next chapter!! Author's Response: I can hear them!! I'm incredibly glad that Dean noticed the unblemished hand and has realized that it's NOT Sam tormenting him. Date: 02/12/07 Title: Chapter 18: Chapter 18 Has my opinion of her changed?? NO WAY! I still detest her. hehe This was a terrific update with Dean finally getting the upper hand on the beast with Sam's face. And, dare I hope, the boys are reunited in the next chapter?? I'm sooo ready for some of the comfort coming on top of all the delicious hurt. BTW, congratulations on making it to the "Featured Story" list with this awesome story. Date: 08/12/07 Title: Chapter 19: Chapter 19 Superb update!! I think I held my breath the entire time I was reading it. I could practically feel Dean's body shutting down and his desperation while tapping on the phone. And, wow, you got me with the one line: oblivious even to the furry little creature crawling it’s way up his leg and making it’s way to his face, no longer interested in just his fingers anymore. After all that delicious torture earlier in the story, THIS made me cringe. hehe Go figure. Oh, I just cannot wait for the next update!! Have I told you lately how much I love this story?!? Author's Response: Thanks again for the great comments! There's just something about a dirty nasty rat that makes the skin crawl, isn't there? Physical torture is one thing, but that's a whole seperate ball of wax. You can tell me everyday how much you love this story because I will never get tired hearing it!! Thanks again and again!!

Date: 11/12/07 Title: Chapter 20: Chapter 20 OH YAY, YAY, YAY -- the brothers are together again! I know the danger isn't yet over (*&%$#@! Jay), but they're together and I love it. Sam's reaction to Dean's condition was terrific. I could feel my stomach clenching right along with his. Funny how the rat was sleeping in the crook of Dean's arm instead of chewing on his face as I half expected. Bravo! Cannot wait for the next installment!!! Author's Response: You're probably right about the danger being far from over, but hey, why now. I could NEVER EVER let that rat do damage to that all to perfect face, that would just be way too wrong! Thanks, as always!! |
