Date: 16/08/07 Title: Chapter 1: Crashing This was an amazing write, My heart simply broke for Dean. His anguish was outright palpable. I was actually holding my breath when he went into the restroom and then knew he had to look in the toilet, discovering all the blood. And Sam's degree of worry mixed with frustration was quite well done. You handled a touchy story with tremendous grace. Author's Response: Thanks so much for your wonderful review. Date: 05/10/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 Thank you for taking one of my favorite scenes from HOTH and expanding on it. It's one of my favorite episodes and that scene, where Sam admits that he prays and Dean is so taken aback, chokes me up. You did a wonderful job here. Author's Response: Thank you, Vanessa. Especially for reviewing on one of my older stories. Yes, I loved that revelation and simply needed to explore it more. It again illuminates the different views of the brothers. Dean was so hurt by Mom's death and the thought that angels didn't protect her and that is reflected in his anger at God. Sam is feeling such a need for redemption for factors that he has no control over so it is only natural that he seeks out a higher power. How very complicated these Winchesters and their stories are. Date: 16/11/07 Title: Chapter 24: Forbidden Fruit Nice update. Man, I feel so incredibly bad for Dean. (Check your latin--I think "nostril" should be "nostri". I only know this because I had a heck of a time with Word correcting my Latin yesterday for Chappy 11 of Scratch, every blasted time I turned around Word was "fixing" a spelling for me. LOL) Author's Response: Heya, thanks! I checked that Latin thing... when I read it through I was thinking nostril couldn't be right, he he, so I've changed it to nostri.
