It makes my heart ache that their lives really haunt Dean so much and Sam's guilt is eating him up but Sam doesn't know it. At the same time I understand that Dean needs his masks. Sam's line about how he knows Dean better than anyone but sometimes Dean is like a stranger to him makes me sad. I love Dean's answer at that: "I'm always me, Sam." It makes me think that despite all the different roles Dean plays, he isn't actually pretending anything 'cause all those roles are just different sides of his character. I love your insight that Dean wears his masks to protect both himself and his brother.

Awesome job! Even though this nearly broke my heart and got me thinking, this was funny too. I grinned at the mouse hunting and especially at Sam's line "You're such a slut, man." This was also beautifully written.

Hey Rae, I realized that I haven't yet read this story of yours. Because I know how talented you are, I thought I should check this out. Now I'm very glad I did! I like your idea (as always), it's really intriguing. This whole story has been exciting and interesting so far and I like the way you have brought some good characters from the real show into this. Like I have said before, I like Bobby very much and Ellen and Missouri are nice too, especially because you can write them true to their characters. I love the way you write characters, they are always great whether they are yours or not.

Well, I love your whole writing style. I think you add enough some awesome description to spice the story but never too much so your stories always keep moving forward. You are also great at dialogues (and flashbacks, but I have a feeling that I have already told you that :D). 

There are many good lines in this story but these are maybe my favourites: "As much as Dean was convinced that the demon was right and he really did need his family more than they needed him, Sam knew it wasn’t true because he needed Dean just as much. Even when he was at Stanford, Dean had always only been a phone call away… because unlike Sam, Dean would have answered."

I can't wait to see where you are going with this but I hope the boys will be alright at the end...

Absolutely loved this! Such an epic story, I'll definitely read this whole thing again someday. The end of the world was awesome and well written. It also really made sense 'cause Sam's death is the end of Dean's world and if Dean was Lucifer, of course it would be the end of the 'real' world as well. I seriously gasped when I read about the deal Dean was making. I was scared this would end like that, Dean and Sam separated forever! That would be pure horror! So thanks for saving them (and me), I would've been crying if this had ended that sadly. This last chapter is one of my favourites in this story.

"More than anything he wanted to tackle Sam, pulling him into a hug just like when they were kids and the youngest was getting to that ‘older siblings are embarrassing’ stage. He wanted to tell Sam how much he loved him and how sorry he was for everything that had happened, but as he continued to just stare, he began to realise that to Sam none of it had happened.

So he didn’t dare. If Sam didn’t know, he didn’t want Sam to know… and he didn’t want to give him anything that would make him suspicious. And Dean Winchester shows of affection for no reason was suspicious."

"Dean squirmed away, trying to act as though everything was normal and he wanted it to be so badly, if only he knew what was normal now and what wasn’t"

Those parts made my heart flutter! You described Dean's feelings very amazingly. Wow. And the ending was brilliant too, loved your song choice, 'Sympathy for the Devil' and Sam's amused reaction but sincere answer to Dean's concerned question. *happy sigh* Thanks for the ride, it was really enjoyable. Please don't ever stop writing, you're so great at it.

Dean looking out for Sam and protecting him even in death... It's so sweet and definitely something Dean'd at least try to do! 

I'm not a big fan of death fics but I really like this one! The whole idea of Dean becoming a reaper's cool and together with your writing skills it works so well I just have to like it! :)

But even though I like your story very much, I wouldn't like it if the other died in the real show. I think it'd be too cruel to separate the brothers!

Wow. This is absolutely amazing. I loved every line! And it's all so true. This's very well written, I can hear Sam's thoughts, I can see Dean from his pov. Incredible job. What a lucky girl I am, it's so random that I found this wonderful piece of writing and I'm glad I did.

Haikus and Dean... Would have never thought them together. I admire your bravery. And somehow you made it work because these express Dean's character really well. Good job!

Awesome and very exciting chapter! The ghosts were pretty creepy. And I can't wait to see what'll happen when Dean wakes up.
