I love the idea of John -- strong, capable, military man John, who hunts vampires and werewolves without batting an eye -- desperately dipping his itchy kids in assorted breakfast foods. Thanks for the laugh! Summary: John Winchester had been searching for the monster that killed his wife for years. When his eldest son got a phone call that there had been a house fire in Cicero, Indiana, John thought they had finally picked up the thing's trail.

Date: 28/11/11 Title: Chapter 1: In a Blaze of Fire Oh, I really like this so far! It's sweet how you've got Dean putting parenting skills to use that he learned on Sammy when he and his brother were both kids. On first glance, Dean's right: he's always on the road, fighting evil, staying in cheap motels and eating greasy diner food -- not exactly what springs to mind when you say the word "father." But when you think about how he's taken care of Sammy all their lives, you've got to think he'd make a really good dad. Ben will be lucky to have him. I'm looking forward to more of this! Author's Response: I am glad that you enjoyed the first chapter! Dean would be a perfect, amazing father. We see it every week when he takes care of Sam.
