Okay, so... Tolkien. The master. I applaud you for recognizing that. It's become such a part of our culture and speech that I don't know many who would recognize the quote from The Fellowship of The Ring: "All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renewed shall be the blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king." I'm glad you liked the end -- I wanted to give Dean some time to heal, and since this was the 2nd interaction with he and Brenna, well... it is *Dean* after all. Date: 14/08/07 Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 2 Running on Empty Huh, well, dark is good! You got the emotions just right, I think. That would be terribly horrifyingly awful...I can see how this (coupled with other "bad jobs") would drive Dean over the edge. Again, dark is great!

 Date: 07/08/07 Title: Chapter 1: The Gray Grim Reaper !!! Yeah, I'm hoping not to take this too seriously...I'd be depressed if Dean killed himself over a gray hair!!!! It's actually kind of...funny...!!! Anyway, this was an interesting short story, kind of random kind of weird, but well-written. Love the randomness!!! Summary: Are our memories really the way things used to be? As their past resurfaces Dean finds himself falling back into the memories, and Sam wonders what exactly made him forget.
