I've been hooked on Supernatural from the pilot episode. I've always liked horror.  Give me the good old fashioned goosebumps on your skin, lock the door of your car, afraid to go into your house kind of terror.  And Supernatural gives me a weekly booster shot.

I started writing with the encouragement (and nagging) of ShinyWinchesterGun. My second story became part of series thanks to the support (and threats) of other new-found friends on the site, Glyconut and Synera.

But I think my real passion is reading.  There are so many amazing stories!  And I leave a review for every chapter I read.  The author has put so much of herself/himself into that chapter that I feel it's only fair to reward their good work.  I believe reviews help writers to progress, give encouragement, and determine our Top Tens.

The great thing I've found on this site as opposed to other sites I've visited, is that the people here truly care about each other. They lend support, ideas and kicks in the pants when you need it. I've made lasting friends of all ages and from nearly every continent here. This is my online home.

I'm honored and thrilled to have been voted the Runner Up in 2009 UnGen awards.  Thanks to everyone who gave me a try and read one of my stories.

What a beautiful story!  It was a pleasure to read.  Youcaptured John's wandering thoughts and hispangs of conscience so well.

Author's Response: Thanks for your review.  John is a wonderful character to write, there is so much we don't know about him we can do whatever we want with him.

Sam has a mysterious teacher who considers hunting a type of homework. A revelation may cause one brother to lose the other in order to keep him.  The brothers learn exactly how much they mean to one another, how deeply their bond runs and what one will do for the other.

All things supernatural don't have to be evil.  Dean and Sam get a look at the 'bigger picture.'

Love Dante's quote.  I wrote it down from "The Coming Storm."

Jeez, I never knew peanut M&M's were required school supplies either.  My poor children are so deprived.  At least there's hope for next year.

I like the eerie house and the creepy professor!  Good set up for the story!

Author's Response: Hehehee...thanks so much.

A very intriguing character, Craven!

An excellent vantage point of the traumatic accident and the fall out in the hospital! I really like this point of view.  It expresses so clearly the intense dynamics of Sam and Dean's relationship.

Amazing piece of work!

As if telling us Craven was going to speak to John wasn't enough, your chapter end notes are more cryptic and teasing.

Author's Response:

This was one of my favorite chapters to write.

Thanks.

"Speak with effect."  Good one!

Cool troll, especially the eyes blinking sideways!

Uh oh!  If Dean has to truthfully answer a question posed by a troll they're in deep trouble!

Author's Response:

Thanks for reading.  Dean and the troll were far too much fun.

I hope we get to find out more about Craven and his past.

A camel is a pretty ugly animal so naturally it's hindquarters wouldn't be too pretty.

The next chapter should be spectacular---John and Craven using all their charm.

Author's Response: Heehehe...thanks for reading!  There will be a bit more on Craven, and he'll be in the story after this one.

What a heart-breaking (well-written) chapter!  Those poor boys.

Author's Response: Thank you so much.

You seem to start every chapter with a bit of Winchester-like humor.  I love it!  So good to see Dean aspire to something---even if it is drinking, sex and fighting.

Amusing cell phone piece!

Author's Response: Thanks yet again.  I enjoyed the cell phone thing myself.

Incredible!!!  This is the best chapter----I LOVE it!  So much insight and introspection.  It truly defines the relationship between the brothers.  This is amazing!!!

Author's Response: Thanks!

Cute line---mass appliance suicide.  Maybe there needs to be a support group for depressed small appliances?

Okay, I think this is my second favorite chapter!  I can't say anymore than that---stupendous!

Author's Response: Aawww...thanks so much!

I love Dean's growl!  What a unique endearment.

Good shot from Sam about Indonesia!  Cancel that passport.

Ooohh---superb cliffhanger!

Author's Response:

Thanks so much...I really appreciate all your comments.

What a creepy boogeyman description!

I think it's unique and very compassionate to give violent offenders a supernatural reason for their crimes.

Clever using the bit from the pilot episode as such an important part of this story.  You pick out so many details and expound upon them.  That's a great gift!

Author's Response: Thanks again!

The way Sam talks about having a Dean in his life reminds me of the creatures in Dr. Seuss' book "One Fish Two Fish."

Author's Response:

I must have read that book at some point, but I don't remember it.

Thanks for all the great reviews.

Very good set up for the coming war!  Makes me want to read another stroy in this series!  Is there another coming?  Pleeeeese?

Author's Response:

Yes, it's in the works now.  I'll start posting it soon. The title is Storm Surge.

Thanks so much!

Dean's love of yard work reminds me of the 2 minute mowing scene in WIAWSNB.  Not only does he get one hobby in this story, but two.  Wow!

I like that you used Sam's previous thoughts as Dean's in this chapter---everyone having a Sam in their lives and whatever he'd done to deserve Sam he hoped he'd keep right on doing it.

Ooohhh!  They go after Dante next?  That should be some great whumpage!

Don't care what you title it, just PLEASE post it!

Author's Response:

Thanks again..the next one is in the works and I'll be starting it up soon.

Great beginning!  Love the banter between the boys.

So, is Dean afraid of the monster in the closet?

Author's Response:

Thank you! Dialogue is probably my favourite thing to write - so I'm glad you like it. :)

As for being afraid... I think we all are :D I still can't sleep with mine slightly open.

Thanks for reading!!!

Oh my stars!  Dean did see the boogeyman when he was a child!  this is going to be awesome!

Author's Response: Thanks! I love putting Dean in that spotlight... as you've probably noticed I'm really really bad for it... poor Sam gets pushed out a lot. But I love him too... just not as much as Dean.

That creaking is an effective tension builder.  Also love that you repeat Dean's experience from the previous chapter at the end of the current chapter.  Like bits and pieces are returning to him.

Author's Response: :) Thanks! I don't know why I added the little end bits... it just felt right and seemed to work :D So I'm really glad you liked them.

John is such a sweet dad in this story.  It's good to see!

Author's Response: I like sweet fatherly John... Maybe I'm just really naive but I wanna believe he could be like that at least sometimes. :D Thanks!

The exchange between Dean and Jacob is really cute, especially with the bad word.

Author's Response: Dean and kids - I loved seeing it in the first season and really missed it in the second, fingers crossed for plenty of kids in the third season... okay and that just sounds wrong... you know what I mean though, right? lol

Wow!  This is getting exciting!  First little Dean goes missing and now Jacob might be taken, too.  Hopefully, the Winchesters will be able to dumb luck into a way to stop whatever it is.

Author's Response: Poor little Dean... I can't believe all those terrible things I did to him :( Awww bless.... Dumb luck, he he, they have a lot of that. :)

Incredible chapter!  Jacob is a smart cookie!  And the monster is coming back for Dean!

Dean can see the monster, but no other adults can.  Is that because he was held captive by the monster when he was young?

By the way, love the banner!  Great photo!

Author's Response:

Thanks! I have a soft spot for Jacob... And yeah - monster's coming for Dean :D

I hope I answered your question further along in the story... :D I think I covered it.

And thanks! One of my early banners - but pictures of Dean really do make just about anything look pretty.  :D
