Date: 14/09/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 Very good piece. I love Dean's determination. I especially like when he tells Sam to trust him to know when there's no hope. That's a wonderful point. Thank you! It was bugging me that Sam more or less just accepted that he was going to go darkside. And it's something I thought *someone* needed to say to Sam: if he was going to ask his brother to promise, then he had to trust the promise all the way. Summary: Less than 200 words drabble that i made for a fanfiction challenge at supernatural.tv. It won 3º place!! Just read it and enjoy.

He was surely dying. You could not be feeling this and not be dying. He had to be dying. Please, let me be dying! This was too much to live with, Sam wanted it to end, needed it to end. Oh god it hurt so much, so bad, oh god make it stop, make it stop, make it STOP! He couldn’t speak, couldn’t do anything but scream in total anguish, not knowing where his body began or ended, feeling, hearing, seeing nothing but the pain being afflicted on his being. It was pain beyond pain, and he welcomed unconsciousness as his body reached its limit. NOW COMPLETED!!! Date: 31/08/07 Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4 I can't believe you didn't like this chapter! I love how the pain made Sam feel he had suffered for years and that he couldn't endure one more second, forcing himself into unconsciousness. I also loved how Dean sat with Sam, helping him to control his breathing. And that Sam felt himself losing his sanity. I thought this was an awesome chapter!

Date: 14/10/07 Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 Never heard of BEK's before. All this time I thought it was vampires. Something new to learn about---cool! I hope there's more information about them. Good to see Sara isn't losing her head for Dean. A mother has to keep her priorities straight. I'm glad she's going to the house, but staying safe. That one thing has really boosted my admiration for her.

I would have been very disappointed in her mothering skills if she had stayed asleep when Dean left her. Sam and Dean not having grown-up with a mother wouldn't know about it. Love the creative way you killed the BEK's. Author's Response: So glad you've enjoyed Shannon. Sara is a favorite of mine and I actually have two other stories based on her and Dean. Date: 14/09/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 This is a great piece! I love so much about it---Sam hunting when he's homesick, Dean saving the day, Dean making the first move by calling Sam. I guess I never thought of Sam continuing to hunt in college. That would greatly add to his guilt over Jessica's death. I also hadn't thought of what Sam continuing to hunt would mean to Dean. How sad that he thought Sam really wanted to leave him behind.
