Loved your girl Lani's perceptive and understanding nature. Loved that Sam saw yet another facet of his big brother. Would love to see them do something similar to this in S3. Beautiful! Author's Response: Thanks so much! I too would love for Dean's ONS to turn into something meaningful and for Sammy to witness that. There is always more depth to Dean than what you see on the surface and I do think he cares deeply, so it stands to reason he would connect on a real level with someone like Lani who does see beneath his facade. I was so afraid Sam was going to let go and so relieved when he didn't, and in my mind's eye, I could literally see the big man carrying Dean's broken body out of the house. And the nightmare-Wow.
