Date: 20/03/09 Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 2 I believe your three rules are still firmly in place, so I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for you to resolve this. I think maybe it was not a good idea read this today, not after last night's episode. Some images are just lingering in my mind and that pit in my stomach has not gone away. THANK YOU for killing Ruby. I REALLY needed that today. I think you know what I mean. Keep writing and I'll keep reading!!! Ahh, another who has unshakeable faith that I will under no circumstances break my second rule. Um - don't fall off that seat, hon. Date: 27/03/09 Title: Chapter 3: Chapter 3 I have been patiently waiting for the next chapter to this story, so imagine how excited I was to see this today. I knew your second rule was still firmly in place. I trust you that much. I'm sorry you had to kill Bobby, but at least Sam and Dean have a "home" of their own now. I had a scary thought while reading this. As we know from the last two episodes, Dean broke the first seal and Castiel has said he is the only one to stop them. What if Sam is the key to open the last seal, and Dean has to kill him to stop him. No, Kripke wouldn't do that to us, but then you never know about him. That pit in my stomach is still there. BTW, my name is Jane and I live in Acworth, Ga. I can't wait for your next chapter. SOON HOPEFULLY!!! Thanks Jane - sorry for the mix-up. Date: 04/04/09 Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4 Another great chapter!! Update soon, because your killing me with these long delays. I'm at a loss for words about this chapter. I was okay until the end, but now that pit is back in my stomach. Stop doing that to me!!! Keep writing and I'll will definately be there to keep reading!!! Thanks for that. Date: 25/04/09 Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6 Next week!!! Oh, come on. Well, I guess if I have to wait at least this time it's with hope and a great big smile on my face. I'm so glad to have Sam back. I really missed him. I'm also happy for you, that you got to meet the boys. I'm a Sam girl, so if Jared had looked at me I wouldn't be mush, I'd be a big sloppy puddle on the floor. Can't wait for you next chapter!! Make it soon!! LOL! I'm actually glad to have Sam back, too, just quietly. It was really hard to write Dean on his own for that two years. And I was hoping and praying that I wouldn't lose Sam fans over it, but it had to be told. And huh! Just like the other supernaturalfan on SN.tv, you're a Sam girl, too. Sharon is a dedicated Sam girl. You sure you're not the same person? ROFL! Oh, you would have been - we'd have had to get the wet and dry vac to hoover you up. Date: 02/05/09 Title: Chapter 7: Chapter 7 I was so glad to see your next chapter posted on Friday. After Thursdays episode and the clip for the next 2, it was just what I needed. So much emotion in this chapter from the boys. It really got to me. That is one thing I can count on when reading your stories. You do a great job of reading each character so well. I'm anxiously awaiting your next chapter. PLEASE make it soon!!!! Thanks for that, Jane. I'm actually pretty scared of the finale. Aww, thank you! I try very hard to get the boys right. And their emotions - especially Sam. It is so easy to get him wrong. As for the emotion - there are quite a few emotionally charged chapters coming up - like the next one.... Jules

Date: 08/05/09 Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 This is the second time I am writing this review because I lost it the first time. It was much better the first time, so I was upset. Oh well, here it goes. Sam's journal entries were riveting and emotional and I could see Dean's reaction. It was like watching t.v. in my head. I can't wait for him to find the letter. Hopefully next chapter? Sam's entries about Ruby were right on. Sounds like you feel the same as me about her motives. There not good. I want you to know I have thought about this story all week. I guess because of the last 2 episodes and what's going on with the boys. It's got me scared too and tied in knots. Your story is the way I wish it would be. I think a happy ending is just around the corner. I'm not sure that is coming for the show. I look forward to next week. I believe I'll really need it then. Oh, don't you hate that? Petra actually types her replies up in a Word doc, then copies and pastes it over, just in case it does a time-out and she loses the lot. I'm rarely that organised.... Thank you for that - we were really hoping that the journals would strike a deep chord. The letter will turn up in chapter 10, actually - it's not at the house. It's in someone else's keeping. And yes, I feel that Ruby has manipulated Sam and lied to him, and that she has some part in the endgame that is yet to be revealed. And it's not good. Date: 15/05/09 Title: Chapter 9: Chapter 9 I love this chapter and so glad Dean has someone on his side. I hope she changes Sam's doctors mind because they really need to be together to heal each other. I loved all your journal entries about Sam's hair. I love everything about that boy, but his hair *sighs* no words can express. Thanks for the imagery.(did I spell that right, oh well) "You might be in luck, big brother, maybe this radiation therapy will kill me and save you the bullet. I hate you, and I hate me. I hate the treatment I have to have. I hate Ruby. I just want everybody to leave me alone. I just want everything to stop! I just want Dean to come and get me and take me away from all this. I can't do this cancer trip without him. All I want is Dean to stop hating me." Where do you pull this from? My heart broke with that whole paragraph. Just reading it again now makes me want to cry. We are so pleased that you understand her value in our brother's relationship. We discussed Sam's hair and the side effects of his treatment in depth before he wrote these journals. I think it's because I lived in Sam's head for so many weeks. Jules and I spent three days straight discussing what we wanted to portray in Sam's journals - his journey, his emotions, his illness and treatment, and how these journals would fit and enhance the overall arc of the storyline, and Dean's reactions when he eventually found them. I can't thank you enough for your wonderful comments about an entry from the journal that affected you so deeply. We look forward to you reading our next chapter. Date: 22/05/09 Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10 Okay, so I sat and read this entire chapter all the way through without stopping frankly because once I started I couldn't stop. When I was done I was so emotionally drained and at a loss for words I had to walk away and think about this chapter before I wrote this review. I just want to say thank you for writing something that moved me that much. I know that probably sounds strange, but I know it means more to me when I am moved in that way. Anyway I'll move on. There was so much anger, depression, guilt, blame, more anger etc.. in not only in Sam's journal entries but in Dean's response it was almost overwhelming. Yet in the middle of all that emotion you put an entry that showed us who Sam truly wants to be. That one entry(after reading the others) made me cry(literally). Knowing that he can't be the one thing he really wants to be because of events out of his control is heartbreaking. You showed that emotion in your writing and I felt it as I read it. That to me is great writing. I know you say your a Dean girl, but I believe you have a real empathy for Sam and know him so well. Maybe Jared's portrayal of him helps that in some way. I also like your entry of his anger about how all the things he's done make him evil or wrong but what everyone else has done has been to protect or save others. Those things that his Mom, Dad, or even Dean have done, though maybe not on the same scale as him, still were not right. I think he has a right to be angry about that. Things have been done to him that were out of his control and he was only trying to make the best of it. That came across strong in your writing. On a positive note, I'm glad Blake came around and allowed Dean to see Sam. I look forward to next week and Sam waking up. Keep writing and I will definately be back. Date: 29/05/09 Title: Chapter 11: Chapter 11 Thanks again for another great chapter. I love that the boys can still communicate without words even after so much time apart. Sam letting Dean take up the conversation with just a look and nod was great, and Sam protecting Dean by saying it was just a mugger showed how much he loves his brother. We can feel and see Sam's continuing fear of Dean in your writing, but his desire to be with him far outways his fear by his constant need to have him there. Great writing ladies!! You are leaving us hanging till next week!!*evil* You sure you haven't been taking notes from Kripke. lol I look forward to Friday and the long awaited talk. Author's Response: What a lovely review! I appreciate that you both want to bring your best work to the fans. This lets me know you care about your writing, and bringing us your best is part of that. Date: 27/06/09 Title: Chapter 13: Chapter 13 I'm glad both of you are better and are back. I have missed this story and was glad to see the next chapter posted. As usual the wait was hard, but ladies once again you have not disappointed. I did think that Sam drinking the demon blood could be the secret, but since it had not been mentioned in your story so far I wasn't sure. Thank you for all the back story from the time when Dean was in hell and when Sam started again after he came back. Actually this is exactly as I imagined it to have taken place, but both of you giving voice to my thoughts was satisfying. "In that moment, I realised that with you gone, there was no one ever again who I could share anything with, who I would give that level of trust to. She was in the right place and the right time and she knew it. She worked hard to get there, and timed it to perfection." Thanks for another great chapter. I understand needing some down time, but PLEASE don't do it again. LOL Author's Response: Thank you so much, Jane. We missed it too, but we really needed that break. Oh, you thought right - the blood was the secret. We didn't mention it earlier, as when the first few chapters were written, The Rapture hadn't been screened, so we didn't know. But once we found out, we realised that was what Ruby had been alluding to in 4.09 and 4.12, so we had to bring that to a close. And we surmised that Dean would pretty much go off his tits when he found out. Just as Sam feared. And yep, we're glad too. When Petra saw the finale, she rang me and crowed triumphantly, "Ding dong, the witch is dead!!" So it was a delight to have Sam tear her apart with the same power she'd been trying to get him to tap into. Poetic justice, we reckon. Don't do it again, eh? Date: 03/07/09 Title: Chapter 14: Chapter 14 I have loved this story from the beginning and you ladies definately have me hooked, but this chapter is my favorite. This is about the restorating of Sam's faith. Being a Pentecostal Christian myself (yes, I do read the chapter end notes and know what that means) it has grieved me watching Sam's loss of faith this season. Seeing the angels be a big part of that with Uriel's actions and Castiel calling him "the boy with the demon blood" is even more condemning. I can see where Sam would think this. I watched "Great Pumpkin" just last night and then to read this today seems to have brought it full circle in my head. I don't think Kripke and Co. will be doing this with the show (but oh how I would love to see this). Dean remembering what Bobby said from "Lucifer Rising" was great. "He was quiet - real quiet. And then he just took off." I could hear his voice in my head (literally) as I read this. Very little attention was paid to this statement in the episode, but it said alot for Sam's state of mind. Thank you for letting Dean remember and expanding to make it more. Thanks for bringing Bobby back to even if only in Dean's head. He's still there for the boys. I'm anxious to read next week and learn whatever Whitesnake has in his head with this latest twist. Have a great week and 4th of July. I'll see you next Friday. And our hearts have been breaking for him, even though he's done the wrong thing. He thought it was the only way to stop Lilith - thought he was doing it for the right reasons. And how cruel was Kripke, making the brother with the faith, the brother who prayed every day the one who was cursed and tainted by demons? Oh, Bobby's statement - well, let me assure you Petra's and my ears pricked up at that, as we were dying to find out what that four months alone had done to Sammy. And yes, even though we killed Bobby - by inference - he's still around in their memories. And he's still helping the boys - his boys. Date: 31/07/09 Title: Chapter 15: Chapter 15 I was so glad to see this next chapter posted today. I have really missed this story, and I am also glad to know with this that you are on the mend. This chapter was certainly worth the wait, but then you ladies never disappoint. It's nice to see the old Sam coming out in this chapter. I really miss him even on the show. I like the way you used Whitesnake and then Willa to see the boys as incomplete without each other and that's what each was missing while they were apart. The ending was great and very touching. Dean giving something of his to Sam was symbolic of his love and committment to him. I LOVE THAT!! Sam's nightmare was a little scary and would just be a cruel fate if that really happened, but I trust you and will go back to the beginning of this story and your promise of no death fics. I love the way we saw the transition of John into Sam in this chapter. The symbolism of him shaving his beard was a perfect touch. Thank you also for putting closure on Jo and her pursuit of him. Date: 08/08/09 Title: Chapter 17: Epilogue Part 1 Part 1 was great and I look forward to reading part 2!! My favorite was Sam's reaction to seeing the Impala for the first time in 2 years. It was great!! I'm also glad again that you gave closure to a part of John's past for Sam with the bar fight, and also for Dean since he couldn't be there to support his brother the first time. I'm glad his friends got to see the real Sam as well. O.K., so on to part 2. We just love it that our Impala scene had such an impact on you. Glad you it got to you too. Date: 08/08/09 Title: Chapter 18: Epilogue Part 2 Great ending to one of the best stories I have ever read on the site and believe me I have read many. I am sad to see it end, but also I am excited to see what you ladies come up with next. I know this story has been all consuming for you both so hopefully after a short break I will see your names again and be able to enjoy what comes from your awesome mind. After the journey you put Sam and Dean through in this story it was great to see them back to together as the brothers that we all know and love. I can only hope, as he has promised, that Kripke will do the same by the end of Season 5. Date: 25/03/09 Title: Chapter 1: A bitch by any other name? When I read the title to this story I knew exactly where you were going. This is what Sam said when the demon Meg was possessing him in BUABS. This same idea has been floating in my brain for weeks, and it's funny but I just read something the other day on another website about this. This person was saying the same thing. There are to many coincidences between Ruby and Meg and I can't shake it. The witch thing is the only thing I can't figure out. If this turns out to be true, Sam will be devastated. I guess we'll have to see. Keep writing and I'll keep reading!! Hi there I love it. Someone spotted where the title came from!! *hands gold star over* It was what Meg/Sam said in BUABS. Date: 26/05/09 Title: Chapter 1: Hero's Reward Great one shot and this would be a nice way for the series to end. Wishful thinking on our part, but nice anyway. It may have been a one shot, but of course you outdid yourself with a great one!! Thank you for writing a missing end scene for "Jump the Shark". I always felt that there should have been more to that. There's no way Sam could have bounced back that fast from so much blood loss. It has bothered me on more that one occasion, almost to the point that I thought seriously about emailing you and asking if you would be willing to write one. You were the one and only writer I thought of to do it and do it right. As usual, you have not disappointed me. Those scenes were exactly what I needed to give me closure. Putting words on paper and giving them meaning to move others is not my thing, but you certainly have the gift. Thank you!! I look forward to seeing something soon from you again. And I know what you mean by closure on that episode. I know the show can't give us every minute of the boys' day, but that was a bit of a leap. It did show Sam being hesitant in his arm movements when he passed the lighter fluid to Dean, but I did feel there was a fairly substantial chunk of time missing in there. So this was the scratching of an itch of my own as well, theorising what happened during that missing time. But seriously, thank you so much for your awesome words. You brought this to life in your story. Great eye opener for Dean as well. I loved you brief reference to John, and his protection of the boys.
