It truly was a joy to read, LimpSam and AngstyDean are always a great combination, but with the added dynamics of Sam not knowing who he was, struggling to get a handle on their very weird and frightening existence and Dean fighting to get his little brother back, feeling that he was losing him....well as I said before great writing. Date: 02/12/08 Title: Chapter 3: Blame The Burrito I think I might have pee'd myself laughing too much on reaching the end of this 3 parter in one sitting! The woes and angst Dean piles on his brother all because of his love of salsa and Mexicana foods was just too funny. Loved how you ended it with a too wise Sam clearly laying the blame on an outwardly contrite (but inwardly I'm guessing still giggling) Dean!

Date: 01/10/07 Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6 Just read this from the opening chapter and am now totally hooked! You have the brothers dynamics down to a tee here. I loved that little interlude of gambling for them, Dean playing wide and fast and Sam playing safe. But safe is not something either brother is now guaranteed is it here, not with Capt Kidd on the loose! Oh Lordie to see Dean being broken down like that, to gradually lose that feeling of self of worth, was just plain cruel to read. The Father truly has taken torture to another level, breaking everyone to his will. Amazing chapter. Bitter in the reading but setting up the rest of the story so well.

So Dean has been broken in part, and its was so painful to read, that the once proud man, the very backbone of the Winchester Family, can fall so bitterly. His low self esteem has truly worked against him here. Dominic really does deserve his place in the lower part of hell.

Nope. Not liking our Sammy being tortured here with such professional detachment by Father, who finally has wormed out another confession of self recrimination to use against them. Hate the man you have created here, but damn he does create such an evil universe around him that leaves the reader simply reading in terror for our boys!

Date: 05/07/08 Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 2 Hiya, I can be a tardy reviewer as real life keeps me knuckled under but this story has me hooked and I just have to say my thanks. The way you write the brotherly dynamics between Sam & Dean is truly electrifying at times. Their love for each easily mutating into anger as they both strive to come to terms with the Deal and its impending consequences and the damage it is doing now. On tenterhooks waiting for the next chapter to see where Dean actually is and how Sam is going to cope. Author's Response: Hey - welcome to the craziness that is one of my stories! Pull up a chair, grab a drink of whatever you fancy - ooh, and hang onto your seat for a couple of chapters - lol. I know what you mean by real life grabbing you by the throat and not letting go. I'm a Dean girl, but I have to admit I started taking Sam's side quite a few times after season four. Both boys were being manipulated, but Dean couldn't see the angels were lying to him as much as the demons were lying to Sam. The rift between them was so painful to watch, and then the brothers coming together at the end only for Sam to....I have watched Swan Song only once, and I couldn't sleep that night... Evil cliffie? Sammy, feeling bereft of any hope of getting his brother to trust him again, lets himself go blind into a situation that truly goes pearshaped! Loving the dialogue, characterisation and general ability to pimpthelimp and get Dean back into bigbrother mode. Great story telling as usual from a great pen. Hi, Rozzy, It does indeed go pear-shaped. So now Dean's got an injured brother, the monster, and the storm to contend with...well, a more injured brother than he had before.
