I'm older than dirt, a grandmother. Corporate account rep at a very large bank. Have loved dark stories with tortured people since discovering Poe in 5th grade. Have had more than my share of personal losses and pain, so I guess I can relate to the characters better. Have NEVER read a 'romance' novel, & never intend to. My 14 yr old grandson gets tickled that I listen to Nickelback, Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin, My Chemical Romance and others. Though he loves to drag out my old "cool"Winchester-type music tapes and albums. I fell in love with this show the day it came out.........there just aren't enough heroes in the world!! I'm so sick of 'housewives' and doctors "in heat".When I introduced my grandson to Sam & Dean, he was hooked. Like me, he marvelled at the look & feel of it, and the awesome job Jared & Jensen do on bringing the characters to life.  I was THRILLED to find this FANtastic website two weeks ago and have finished all of VS I & II written to date. Now I have started on the other authors and am soooo impressed. Thank you, thank you, thank you.  5/5/07    Well, here I go, about ready to try my hand at entertaining some of you...........My mentor and Muse tell me my first attempt is complete. Not as certain that I can live up to the high standards most of you set....but have been told it's a decent first. Haven't put pen to paper with any real compositions in nearly forty years......if I'm accepted by any of you, it'll be a dream come true.                

07/07/07 Time for an update.......Thanks to my wonderful friend,Terry, this site has seen me embark on one of the most satisfying journeys of my long life. Writing stories for our readers has been an awesome, fulfilling experience. Exchanging thoughts and ideas with the other wonderful writers has given me sleepless but joyfilled nights. The first story had me scared of falling flat, the second found me more confident. The third however loomed up before me like a demon, filling me with trepidation. Although Terry (thruterryseyes) assured me I was up to the challenge, I wasn't as confident. Now that I have produced nearly 20,000 words and 7 chapters(so far) I am feeling fantastic. The wonderful reviews are a writer's life's blood and mine have been delightful.  thank you, Terry.....thank you my supportive writer friends.... thank you to all our readers.......     PLEASE REMEMBER TO LEAVE A REVIEW FOR THE WRITERS WE A-L-L PUT A LOT OF THOUGHT AND HOURS INTO TRYING TO ENTERTAIN YOU.....................

8/07/07....Went to KazCon (kansas convention) in Lawrence, KS....What a great time I had...got to meet Thruterryseyes and Gaelicspirit at last.What lovely ladies...met so many other writers and readers. What a treat!! Hoping for another convention in 2008...I highly recommend going if you can!!

01/25/2008... I am so excited...I was so pleased to finally be nominated to the Sensue Fanfiction Awards ....NOW I am overwhelmed and ecstatic !!!!....Those two  nominations turned into TWO FIRST PLACE AWARDS...one in Dude, Where's My Car? category for my tale I've Got A Crush On You  and the other in Worst Nightmare category for Trapped Under Ice !!! I'm too excited for words....
