As a favor to old flame Cassie, Dean and Sam agree to help out her oldest friend Amba Williams. The boys set off to Alpine, Arizona to burn the bones of an alleged spirit, only to find it's much more than either of them imagined. As the hunt drags they discover the secrets of the town are buried deeper than six feet under.

As Sam gets attached to heroine Amba, they have to prepare themselves for the possibility of her being the villain.
