NOW COMPLETE - Sam and Dean have always been freaks, Sam found out when he was twenty two just how much of a freak he was. It wasn’t until the boys are trapped once again by the demon that they find out Dean’s little secret that none of them knew about.

Once a quick one shot that wouldn't leave me alone, this is now starting to expand into a story.

Dean sat on his own bed and stared at the wall for hours, then put his face in his hands and sat like that for the rest of the night. Sam thought he heard him crying for a long time.

Sam hated that he couldn't get over his fear. He hated that he had nightmares. He hated that he was scaring Dean.

Sam hated himself for his weakness.

This entire piece of whatever it is was totally inspired by Vanessa.  I've never written a poem in my entire life, except for those god awful ones you have to try and make sound tolerable just to pass fifth grade english class but the first verse of this has been rolling around in my head since the show aired and she sent me something that prompted me to make an effort at finishing it.  God Bless you Vanessa...you are truly an inspiration! 

I am a Player of Games. But as with any good game there must be a worthy opponent. Someone on which I can hone my deadly skills. Some would call them my prey. They would be right. My only objective is to win. I am as of yet undefeated. 

Dean is in a race against the clock as Sam is plagued by terrifying nightmares that leave him weaker and weaker. But how can Dean stop something that is all in his brother's mind?

SPOILERS FOR 'HEART'

He was dying right there in front of Dean and with a forced and pain-filled brave smile, he was giving Dean one last second to come up with a miracle---for them all. To make everything better like he used to be able to when he was five.
