I am a nurse and former paramedic/firefighter - so getting the medical stuff right is always one of my first goals. Since I love a Hurt!Dean - I get to practice my trade a bunch when I write.
I'm also an avid clay, skeet and target shooter- actually - I just really love to shoot guns! Be afraid - Be Very Afraid! LOL I'm a total adrenaline junkie- and basically if it doesnt involve some risk of pain or injury- well then- what the hell is the use in doing it??
My house is filled with testosterone (1-husband, 2 sons) so I get all sorts of inspiration on the male psyche.
Beyond that - I love SN and JA; live for Friday nights and I'm attempting to prove that one can actually wear out DVDs by playing them over and over.
I have already proven that you can nearly load up your DVR to max capacity just by recording nearly every SPN epi and rerun (and it doesnt help now that TNT has it on during the morning now) and it irritates your husband when you do this - LOL
I'm the site admin for UnGen and The Vaults- and to be honest- sometimes that's the most dangerous job I've ever held. Some days- I'd much rather run head first into a fully-involved structure fire than deal with some of the stuff that goes down on this site...
And a quick shout out to all the AWESOME firends I've made through this site ( Sonya, Ilka, Louy, Bev, Jane, Chris, Mary, Annie, Mal, Jen, Jules, Petra and sooo many more I can't possibly list them here - so PLEASE don't be offended!!!)
Having said that- this site has also introduced me to some of the most awesome people out there- so- like they say- gotta let the good balance the bad- and it definately does here. At the end of the day- I love this place!
Best part of being Admin- without a doubt- getting to read all the new fics first- lol!
Truly, I am very humble and generally feel that there are tons better writers out there than me - but until they pry the keyboard from my cold, dead hands- I guess I'll hang out a while and keep trying to do my best to create good stories that someone might enjoy.
