What do you say when you write your own bio, hummmmm, I guess you start at the beginning. My name is Crystal and I’m older than the impala!
I was born and bred in the beautiful state of Colorado and I returned home after a fifteen year absence. I can see Pike’s Peak when I look out my bedroom window, the mountains have always called me home.
I am a widow. My beloved John passed away from cancer caused by agent orange from his service in Viet Nam in July of 2004 that was truly the day the music died.
The craziest thing I ever did was marry John. How does that make me crazy you ask, well from first date to wedding date was a grand total of seven days, yes one week. We weren’t given a chance in hell of making it, but we beat the odds and had over twenty five years.
The greatest thing that came from our life together is our beautiful, smart, sarcastic, witty, crazy, twisted daughter Courtney, (love you baby) who has a story here under her penn name Makoto Kou.
I live with two cats in all their cat glory. Moze (who’s name was originally Smokey but the name mutated just like he did) is a 14 year old manx. He’s about the size of a small bear cub. My baby is Ghost a 4 year old gray terror.
I am addicted to Supernatural. Complete obsession. The horror genre has always called to me. I love the old horror movies, you know Bela as Dracula, Boris as Frankenstein and as the mummy. The atmosphere of those movies is incredible. It’s what your imagination does to make things scary. Not a real huge fan of slasher movies, but I’ve seen more than my share.
Music is pretty much the soundtrack of Supernatural. Those were my so called glory years if you will. Bad Co, CCR, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger. Also throw in a little classical, a little country, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Dwight Yoakum.
