My name is Kirsty and I am one of many obsessed Supernatural fans! I was thrilled to find a website that was dedicated to purely Supernatural fan fiction and signed up immediately. I have written much fan fiction in the past, and for those of you who are interested, I have a FF.Net account under the name of linkkinparkk. Anyway, I was tenative about writing Supernatural fan fiction for fear that I wouldn't capture the character's personalities and relationships, but I eventually took the plunge and found I loved writing add-ins for the show. It was definitely a case of once I was started, there was no stopping!
When it comes to writing Supernatural fan fiction, I prefer to write one shots that either show a chosen character's feelings and thoughts in a given moment i.e. Dean after Sam walked out on him, or a funny, cute fics that highlight the best of each of the character's personalities i.e. the brother's relationships. I prefer one shots to a full on story, due to my fears of before that I just won't be able to capture a whole story. However, I have two ideas that I'm sitting on, and am eager to work on, which would require the dedication of a series.
Okay, now for the 'me' parts, if you can call them that. Anyhoo, I'm from the United Kingdom and I am currently studying Psychology, which also means I am in my first year. Oh, university. How much fun! I can't imagine leaving. Ah, and my interest in Psychology probably explains why I like to analyse Sam and Dean's emotions and thoughts so much, through the medium of one shots.
Good ol' U of K, how tortured are we, that we have to wait extra long for the newest season of Supernatural. But fear not, our time is coming for it is January '10 and I managed to score a viewing of 5.01 a few weeks back. Naughty, but I was desperate. And still am. University means no TV or cable and no TV/cable means no SPN. I'm not a bad person, so why am I being punished? Eh, I'll find a means of getting my Sam'N'Dean fix.
Oh, and for those who are interested, my penname is kudos to Dead By Sunrise, a mixture of their band name and the name of their first album, Out of Ashes.
