After a hunt gone terribly wrong a mysterious note leads the boys back to a nearly forgotten town and a past Sam has somehow erased from his mind.  The same past that has been haunting Dean for nearly twelve years.

Something I've been dabbling in since the hellatus of Season 3 & it's been refueled by all the new angst and challenges of Season 4.  Kinda going with the fantasy that's it's an episode, thus the "Then/Now" summaries.  Runs that way in my head, truth be told.

Warning for language a little rougher than on TV, maybe for violence (guess that's subjective, though) and a possible adult situation or two.
