I'm sitting here, stunned.

We've imagined it, , read fics about the deal being avoided, read fics about before and after, but not IT actually happening. And right before Sam's eyes.

Your little fic just blew me away, my heart is hammering at a thousand beats a minute.

Your descri[tion of the almost lack of emotion from either brother as a contrast to the tormoil of intermal emotions was awesome. Sam's has anger as his one overiridng emotion.I get that. I love how you had Sam's anger mask his despair and grief. Clever how you began and ended your story with Sam's anger.

Your conclusion was awesome - Sam, not Sammy anymore, to Samuel, putting on Dean's jacket and jewelry *sob*

Very sad  ficlet, beautifully written. I hope you got top marks!

Thank you so much. This is quite possibly the best review I've gotten in all my years of ficcing. :)

I will never know exactly what mark I got for each part of the exam I wrote this for, but I do know the exam is marked out of 45 - I can generally figure out how well I did on each section going on past performance. I'll probably add in another author's note when I get my results on December 19, to let everyone know how I went.
