Very cute! NIce job it makes sense that Dean would tell Sam about Ben just before he died to give Sam something to hold onto a reason to keep going. This of course is all dependant on the assumption that Lisa was lying and that Ben really was Dean's son...Very good job!

I normally don't read fanfiction even though I'm always looking through summaries and such but something just made me click on this story. I read it, and I have to say I liked it. It just seems so Sam to stay with Ben and be there for him. I'd love a sequel, and I'd actually read it as well!

Sequel please.... may be one where Sam is living in Cicero and gets in contact with Sarah (the girl from the 1st season epsiode Provenance)?
Author's Response: Um, I don't know about a sequel really. But, I think that no matter what, I wouldn't write about Sarah. I liked her and everything but I don't think I'd be able to write Sam and her happy and married and stuff. But, one may never know. ^_^

very sad, I don't like Dean death fics, just because I refuse that Dean is going to die....for long anyway. But yours is the first story that I was able to find that even brought up the subject that Lisa could have been lying. Story is also very well written with great emotion 9/10!

This is a nice ending, though I REALLY do not want this to be the actual ending of the series!!! What I wish though, is that the possible truth that Ben is Dean's actual son, and he is still alive to enjoy it!!! Thanks for writing this!

And, the whole time I was watching the episode TKAA, I really wanted Ben to be Dean's son.
