I gotta tell ya, I've often wondered about the outcome of a fisty-cuff between Dean and John: two supreme, skilled hunters who know each others moves and aren’t adverse to fighting dirty, but in undies and an elf suit was NEVER how I pictured it going down!!!! "Shrek doesn't need any pointers there. He does just fine"..lalalalala *hands over ears* ewooo!!! "Butt out, Toadie" what a scream!! one of your best *hiccups galore* Loved the Winchester reminiscing you wove through this one. Dean remembering Sam's happiness when he still believed and his own joy and pride at having accomplished that for Sam. John's regret at Christmases lost with his boys because of his need to hunt. Warm and fuzzies in amongst your giggles and fun. Just lovely. And OMG girl, how many characters and oneliners can you squeeze into one chapter?? I'm SO impressed!! From Rhett to Tweety, from Eagles to SN past eppys, you are a legend!! Toon Town beer! I'll drink to that! *cheers* ...and that's REALLY Santa isn't it?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Author's Response: Hey Cookie! You know one of these days I'm gonna write a story where Dean and John come to fisticuffs, but yeah, putting it that way, in undies and an elf suit... nope, not in my plans. LOL I must give due credit for any great one-liners to Dean. He seems to speak to me in my sleep or something... hmmm, that sounded vaguely interesting! I love how the show weaves humor and drama and sentiment and angst all in one episode and I love to attempt the same. I think someone mentioned before about something in the beer! I'd forgot that bit until I went to proof this chapter! LOL Hmmm, is Chris really Santa... next chapter might reveal a few things on that point. Stay tuned! 'Til next time, B.J.

This just keeps getting stranger by the minute. I can't keep my fiction straight. Were you on prescription meds when you wrote this? :-)
Author's Response: Hmmmm. we shall not talk about what I was on when I wrote this.... LOL Nope, like Joe, I get high on life and Supernatural! That and picturing Jensen as ElfDean! was all I needed to get me in the mood to write this. More strangeness ahead. Watch out, B.J.

A very bizarre and entertaining chapter. Love all the music references! Made me put my cd in.
Author's Response: How I love my Eagles... the musical equivalent to the genius of Supernatural! I couldn't believe how many lyrics and song titles I could squeeze in. Great fun for me! Later, B.J.

WOW - Shrek now!!!! I so love this story, could it get any more abstract - I don't think so...but who knows????
Author's Response: Thanks, this story did take off into its own little universe and I was just along for the ride. And oh, what a ride! Glad you're on the ride with us! Take it easy, B.J.

Bj.....what have you done to our beloved, terse Marine patriarch here ????
Author's Response: John, like Dean just needs some relief from the pressure. LOL Poor man has been under too much strain! Later, B.J.

I'm not bad...I'm just drawn that way...!!!!!!!! to me that was the BEST line in Roger Rabbit............Bj, thank you for bringing so much levity to the holiday season with this absolutely delightful, creative tale........... You're just like Santa ....something for EVERYONE!!!!!!!!! !
Author's Response: Thanks, I feel like Santa bringing joy to the world... LOL And yes, that was the best of many great lines in Roger Rabbit! I put everything but the kitchen sink into this story... except the CHOCOLATE, what ever was I thinking forgetting the chocolate? I may have to write a sequel just to stave off my chocolate cravings. So glad you are enjoying my little foray into insanity, B.J.

And the santa napper is: drum roll please.......Shrek!!! Brilliant, this is so much fun to read, really in the christmas spirit. No horrible creatures, beasts or demons and still gripping:) I can't wait for the next chapter, what is wrong with John??? Something in the coffees? Lol Great update B.J Schelz
Author's Response: Thanks, Schelz! I hope Shrek was a surprise, it certainly was to me when it occured to me. I tried really hard to divert attention toward that other green cartoon character. I do love writing the light-hearted stories and I love Xmas stories so it was a perfect, joyful match for me. Thanks again, B.J.

Shrek stole the Santas coz he was jealous?!?!? No way!! Santas with gambling "issues"?!?! Santas in boxers and tees?? I'm half expecting a trickster to jump out. John as we've never seen him - thank God! Where is our moody, broody, dark and intense hunter?? Loved the boys shocked reactions, you voiced our boys so well, true to their characters...if that's at all possible since we are in Toon Town! John doesn't have killer calves? Skinny calves like Sam? See, now you've got me on the calf thing, is this gonna turn into an obsession?? "the planes not coming into the hanger today"!!! Pleeeeease!!! That's so naughty...hee, hee! Thanks for the continued giggle, it's great fun!
Author's Response: Thanks for the smile! Yeah, this story just totally got away from me... all kinds of strange goings on! Poor Dean, just as he thought he was back in control, Dad starts acting so weird, he can't stop thinking about calves, and Sammy's infatuated by a cartoon lady. Oh, my! Yeah, this was great fun to write and I'm so pleased everyone seems to enjoy reading it. I'm off to try and get the next chapter up. Later, B.J.

I can't believe John is missing! And taken right beneath his sons' noses. cool!
Author's Response: Poor John and poor Dean, to actually lose his dad like that! Okay, the chase is on. Take care, B.J.

Such a funny chapter! I almost forgot they are actually working a dangerous case. Getting Sam and John back together was much easier than I expectd it to be.
Author's Response: Thanks. Actually when I first wrote this as I posted, it was the reviewers that kept asking about the case and I went, "Oh, yeah, they ARE on a case, AREN'T they?" LOL For the sake of Christmas, we had to have all the Winchesters together again, but yeah, in the "real" world, probably Sam and John weren't speaking at this point. Oh, well, it works for my story to have them play nice for a change! Later, B.J.

I have to side Dean, Jessica is breath taking, loved watching her when I was young. Lol "I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way." .....Love it!!! Dean grabbing Roger by the ears and lifting him into the air is hilarious, and I absolutely love Roger. love the fairies arguing and moaning about uppity Tinker bell. Now all they have to do is find Jhon, I wonder where they're keeping him and who took him in the first place. hmm??? Great chapter B.J, loved it!!! Schelz
Author's Response: Thanks, Schelz, your questions will be answered in the next chapter. It was a lot of fun playing with Jessica and Roger. Takc care, B.J.

Holy freakin' moly! That was hilarious and so entertaining. The best one yet!! Dean's reaction to Jessica! "laugh like at the Comedy Club or...in the moment?" Kill me now! "You're a doll, Elfie. Maybe in another life" That whole scene was a crack up!Come on BJ, I still gotta breathe when I read! "You mess with me again, Whitey and I will dip you!" Menacing Dean at his best Go you skilled hunter! Sammy's mental checklist of Dean was the best. I just loved it! Screaming in public, bruised and battered butt, yep, not looking good. This was so cleverly written, so funny *stitches in side* And Sammy's reaction to Jessica Rabbit "Sammy's got a thing for the bad girls" Hee, hee!! I so have that image in my head! Your oneliners, borrowed and new just cracked me up, all timed perfectly to make each a punch line. My favourite: "Your college professors tell you that? 'cos Dad would sure as hell disagree." Yeah, Dean, pummell that rabbit!!!!!! oh, that reminds us...where's John??? Go girl, you're flipping me out every chapter!
Author's Response: Oh, how your reviews make me smile! I originally meant to get back to John this chapter, but I was having too much, freaking fun with Jessica and Roger! I do love picturing Dean and Sammy reacting to the toons and then of course, borrowing the funny lines and also just listening to their takes on the toons. Dean gleefully pummeling Roger into the ground with that pipe and both boys' lustful reactions to Jessica are favorite images. Thanks again, John does reappear next chapter. Take care, B.J.

You know what bj, I was having the day from hell today before I came home and saw your update and you have put the BIGGEST smile back on my face so - THANK YOU!!!! This just gets funnier and funnier!!!
Author's Response: Glad I could help out. I know how those days go... I work retail. Thanksgiving and the day after (Black Friday) are our busiest days. Really been crazy at work, so it was nice for me to read thru and remember this story again. Thanks for reviewing, B.J.

B.J, have I mentioned you're a genius, I am so loving this. Looney tunes!!! I loved Roger Rabbit and I had a lil dolly of that red head wen I was smaller. Lol I can't wait for the next chapter, excellent Update hun. Schelz
Author's Response: Thanks, Schelz! I love your reviews! I actually worried that some of the younger generation might not be familiar with Roger Rabbit, but if not then they just need to rent the movie! LOL I had to rewatch it before I could finish this story. More craziness coming in the next chapter. Thanks again, B.J.

Loony Toon Town!! No way!! SN meets Roger Rabbit!! Now the fun's gonna start!! Too funny! After your discussion of TV shows, just perfect! Speaking of which: "...you just gotta hope the quality shows manage to survive with the loyal, the die hard fan's support" *loud cheer* Hope you're reading Kripke and Co! Never heard the Winchesters quite described like this before -"acknowledging these two pixies were more than he could handle" One of those 'have to have been there' moments. *hiccups* Boy did you take Dean through a range of unfamiliar emotions - tantrum, overexcited! Must be the suit!! Thank God he found his hunter game face again. A serious Dean moment that leapt out of all your fun was him accepting the whole sacrifice thing as status quo yet again - "Once more ignoring his disappointment and utter despair..." pure Dean, suck it up and get on with it. oh and "trifecta?" That was pretty funny! Dean snark coming from Sammy's mouth! Loved Dean's reaction to it! Another enjoyable chapter, light heartedness in a dark world. Let the party begin!!!!!!!!!!
Author's Response: Oh, thank you, cookie! I did get on my soapbox there about the quality or lack of with the popular shows. It boggles my mind to think Supernatural would EVER be in danger of cancellation... inconceivable! Once I got started on this story it did just run away with me. Fun was the name of the game and putting Dean thru the gamut of emotions and seeing his reactions just added to the comedy. Dean always manages to break your heart with his unwavering dedication. Like Sam says, it would be so nice to see Dean want something just for himself, something that he felt he did deserve to ask for. Next chapter continues on with more wacky fun. Thanks again for the smile, B.J.

hahaha this is just to god damn funny::D i could just imegen Dean falling down and screaming that was hilarious ...great work
Author's Response: Poor Dean! I had a great time putting him thru all his agonies in this and seeing his comical reactions. The fall was great fun. More toon goodness in the next chapter. I have company visiting so I might not get the next chapter up for a day or so. Thanks for reviewing, always appreciated. Take care, B.J.

Roger Rabbit??!!??? Just when poor Dean thought it couldn't get any weirder.............Sad about his picture with Joe.........would have been Dean's ONLY memorable Christmas with his cellphone pic......
Author's Response: Yes, I did have fun with Roger and Jessica. In fact, I originally meant to get back to John in the next chapter, but had too much fun playing with the toons! Dean still has the pics of John as Santa... Thanks again, B.J.

Read this eating tea and sprayed beans and toast all over table...cat is now covered in it - and it's your fault!!! The boys are in toon town, OMG could this get any more surreal, or any more entertaining. Thought the snarky diaogue at the start was good enough, but this was just OUT there! Still loving it!
Author's Response: Tell Kitty I'm sorry! This story did go way out into left field with this chapter. I bet you can tell, I was totally enjoying myself by this point. No limits anymore! Thanks again, B.J.

WOO Roger Rabbit and Dean Winchester how cools is that, Sammy and Dean are in Toon Town. Can't wait for the next chapter
Author's Response: Yeah, this is where the story took on a real surreal turn, but oh, what fun it was to write! Thanks for reviewing, B.J.
Reviewer: Cookie6 (Signed) · Date: 20/11/07 02:47 PM · On: Chapter 5 - Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
So loved the whole Eagles thing! Infusing the lyrics with your dialogue added to the fun of your fic. Loved Dean's awe of the man, I think that his elf suit being admired might have been the inspiration he need to go into battle about the fairy comment the way he did!! Protecting the elf reputation and all Loved your line "Sam braced for the coming explosion sure it was going to be a doozy" yep, I thought so too! The Grinch? The Grinch stole John?!?! And I just have Dean's face in my head when he was offered the 'Christmas blend' *hiccups*
Author's Response: It was a lot of fun incorporating all the Eagles songs into this chapter. I do think Joe was just the push Dean needed to take back control of his situation. It was fun letting Dean be confident and secure and seeing him go toe to toe with that manager over the fairy comment. Thanks for the lovely review. Take care, B.J.

I like the way Dean got into little problems because of his elf shoes.
Author's Response: His little mishap across the mall floor was a great joy to write. I just close my eyes and picture him and then hurry up and jot it down. Oh, to see Jensen act out some of these scenes would be a dream come true! Later, B.J.

This chapter is really funny the way all the childrens mums are flirting with Dean.
Author's Response: Even Dean in an elf suit is sexy. His poor butt though! Take care, B.J.

Dean on the bus, in a elf suit is classic. Loved this chapter, great update! Schelz
Author's Response: Thanks, Schelz. I do have my sister to thank for that, she just off-handedly stated that "of course" Dean would have to ride the bus... Joe Walsh was MY idea! I loved being able to insert my Eagles and Joe into the mix. Later, B.J.

It was really funny how Sam was teasing Dean about the costume.

Call elf boy?!?! Pimping the elf! Only a Winchester conversation!!!The whole idea of Dean having conversations with children about Bratz dolls, Legolas dolls and GI Joe Arctic Adventure gun is too much!!"Lady, this elf has standards and you're dreamin' if you think my bells are gonna rock your world!" hilarious!!And they LOST SANTA!! John missing and Dean running around like an elf hyped up on crack. too funny, well not John...I AM trying to be serious!Love the boys working together again and verbally sparring - natural equilibrium restored, feels right - to the boys and to us. Your description of Dean freaking out and then working to put his game face back on was awesome, you described Dean so true to character. So now the hunt is really on. I'll bet if all the stolen Santas are being held together, John is already Head Santa!!!Still loving it, still laughing. I probably would be able to take it HEAPS more seriously if you’d quit carefully planting and/or haphazardly throwing in those one-liners!!!
Author's Response: I actually wondered for all of a nanosecond if I was getting too risque with this being a light-hearted xmas story, but knowing Dean and all his sexual innuendos I think it works and it certainly is fun. And the one-liners all come from Dean... not that he's in my head in a crazy sort of way, but I do hear him talking and sometimes I just jot down what he says. LOL Gotta love that man and the predicaments he finds himself in. Thanks again, B.J.
