Tossing chocolate like confetti here! Terrific chapter ladies..... Dean's all smashed up in the car, Sam's nearly out of his skin with worry and he doesn't even know for sure if something's happened yet...... it couldn't be better lol! And for some strange reason this line warmed my heart: Bobby grunted. “I swear, you’re more like your brother every time I see you.” You've got me hook, line and sinker.... don't leave me flailing around too long!

I was all set to write my review, when you mention chocolate covered Winchesters (mmmh, mmmh) and get me all distracted!! Well, you certainly deserve at least one of each variety for this awesome chapter. I just love Sam in ultra protective mode and hurt Dean trapped halfway down a cliff, broken, bleeding, concussed - at least he's got his phone now, even if Sam is 15 hours away. Not to mention all those recently retrieved, dangerous items, scattered throughout the car. Oh there's just so much that could go horribly wrong!! The letter to Sammy was beautiful and one waiting for Dean, do we get to read that one? Please update soon (dangles a big bag of peanut M&M's). Thanks J.

I love the nice sedate start with both boys and Bobby doing a bit of housekeeping. Then the journey and weather getting worse and worse. Leading up to the reason why men shouldn't multi-task!! The skidding out of control was just too scarily real, then to end it there with Dean and the Metallicar plunging over a cliff, well the word cliffhanger is just too near the mark....I'm hooked. Holy crap you guys that was fantastic! I literally cringed every time Dean jostled that broken leg...I could practically hear him screaming! Hoping that Sam gets to him in time...also hoping that all of those dangerous boxes in the back seat are still tightly sealed.... I'm sending a chocolate covered Dean and Sam your way...better get them while the chocolate is still warm... ;-)

Great update!!! I think I'm gonna send over some chocolate bars - lol. I loved the "time out" Sam took to read his mom's letter. So touching. As if she knew back then that Dean would always be the most important person in Sam's life, his protector. And Sam could sense that Dean was in trouble, despite Bobby's reassurance. But he is 15 hours away and not sure where exactly to go and I'm afraid Dean doesn't have that much time. Please don't make us wait too long for the next update :) Thanks!

Jeeez, my two fav. characters in mortal danger (Dean and metalicar) and it's only the first chapter. The way you portrayed the boys and Bobby was spot on and good to see the lock-up.
