What the hell?!? Why didn't Dean tell them he was possessed by Meg? They could exorcise her if he willingly stepped into a Devil's Trap! Or is part of the deal he made with her keeping her locked inside or something? I want that bitch OUT of him! lol. And I know that my pleas and screams are absolutely pointless because this entire thing is already written. Upwards and onwards, then!

So wait -- did he leg Meg in? Is he possessed by her? Is she hiding out in his body??? Because if so, wouldn't the holy water have burned??? Oh gosh, poor freakin' Dean! As if the Hell countdown weren't enough, now he's got a demon riding shotgun inside him? I'm so glad I get to read this all at once in its completed form. :)

Wow, Cal! That's actually exactly the way I hope and think they will do it on the show. Them walking into hell alive and out. I thought before i read your story, that this is the only way. Cos by this Dean will stick to he contract and still live to see the next season. Wanna take a bet? Easy but thinkable. Haven't spoken to anyone about that idea, but you wrote it before Kripke is putting it on the screen. Mark my words... they'll do it like that. Author's Response: Ilka, thanks so much for the reviews, they really mean a lot to me, especially at the moment. the nightmares the boys were gonna live through in hell kept changing (must've written each one a half-dozen times!) but the one thing that always stayed the same, was the idea that the worst thing, the one thing that would snap them out of it was the other dying, so I'm so glad you picked up on that! ---- geez, that definitely is hell to Dean. ----- I'm crying while writing. Get a grip gal! Breathe ---- OK, now. REVIEW Awesome bits at the beginning and end (bold letters). Chills and goosebumps first, tears in the end. Powerful pictures, very poetic, yet so sad and haunting. Dean is so sweet when he's in love and knows he can't have her back, only savouring the memories... wanna hold him and comfort him. best part "a storm surge of salty pain to his eyes" - where I would merely write "Tears welled up in his eyes", uuuuhhh you're an artist. And in the end he is so alone, no one to save him, he feels like he let down the whole world.... And then, Sam's eyes all emptyand seemingly dead because of his own brother's fault.... Hey Cal, guess I'll start here. Have read this and the previous chapters in print, so gonna do an overview review on the story so far... Told you before and tell you now, GREAT story. I love the way you write and how well you know the boys. It is definitely one of the best stories on UnGen... no, not flattering, just true. This chppie is the best example to my reasoning. The way Dean once again sacrifies himself and Sam can't stand living with out him.... aaah... heartbreaking. I read this while I was in the sports center riding one of those bikes there. I had to breathe deeply and close my eyes otherwise I would've been in tears... This story is so emotional and full of suspense.... Lost for words. Will read on nowand do my reviews on each chapie... I know it's been awhile since this was posted but I waited for a day that I would have the time and could read this is one sitting. And I am so glad that I did. This story had me crying and grieving with the boys. Dean's loss of Belle, Sam trying to cope with Dean's grief, Dean's possession and Sam's choice in exorcism and then the whole Gate and Hell scenario. Wow, I feel as if I was put through the wringer with them. The story was so vivid and I could see the boys clearly in my mind while I read. It is an excellent story and a wonderful piece of writing. Thank you for sharing your talent.

my god, it's like watching it happen -not reading. Haven't had any similar experience reading fanfic so far. I mean, there's some really good stuff around but this, I mean, this is like watching an episode. Well done there... I feel a bit like throwing up....
