Author's Response: I did research on lobotaomies and this how they used to do them in the late fifties and sixties. It was pretty creepy I must admit. Hopefully the next chapter will be up later today.

Author's Response: I glad your enjoying my story. I am writing this story so people might have a better understanding of what the mentally disabled used to suffer before the the inventuon of modern day drugs. These suffers today can lead normal lives thanks to these drugs.

Good chappy Silvertayl! That asylum stuff is pretty heavy. Glad I wasn't around in 1874, my friends say I'm crazy. lol:) Those treatments are sick!
Author's Response: My poor aunt was in an asylum in the fifties and these procedures were actually used on the mentally disabled. Electro shock is still used today in some cases. Thanks for reading Silvertayl

Ok ... I waited until now to review because I wanted to lose that queasy feeling anytime asylums are mentioned- they give me the creeps. AWSOME JOB!!!!! you have my attention. Author's Response: Hi RecccaF Thanks heaps for the stunning review. I had an schizophrenic aunt who spent some time in an asylum in the fifties. She did have shock therapy and was always locked into her room. My mum said the shock therapy actually helped her some. My aunt Dolly died of cancer in th eighties.
