What an awesome little oneshot! and this is your first ever? Top job!
I just loved it to bits. The structure of one sentence, one line added so much tot he feeling of eerie quiet in the room. Your repetitive "I want my brother" revealed how extreme Sam's fear was and the flashbacks hammered home Sam's vunerability borne of that fear - magnifying it, escalating it in his head.
Dean at his gentle best was beautifully written. Him climbing in beside Sam to physically comfort him as a match to Sam's need and memories was stunning.
Fantastic job, the lump is still in my throat.
