Ok so as a chapter this is fantastic, beautifully written as always, great action and awesome brotherly emotion...but not sure if I can forgive the cliffy...depends how quick you post the next chapter I think...lol

Hurry up Bobby - we need ya!!!

You are too cruel leaving us thinking our gorgeous Dean is dead. All I can say is he'd better bloody well not be!!! I'm eagerly awaiting next chapter.

A great ending for Emma.  Hope Dean and Sam's goes better.

Yahoo!  finally we get to the hidden dead body!  Now you just need to tell us who it is.  My money is on it being Ben killed by his dad, but I've taken the tour through Terryworld before and been wrong on a number of times.  for all I know crazy Emma got pissed at her family for always arguing and shut them both up by killing them.  Is there an old armoir in the attic?

I'm exhausted just from reading how difficult their journey up the stairs was!

Love the banter between the boys!  You have them down perfectly!  this chapter was even better than the last one {way too short, though.  I'd barely started reading and it was over.  :)  }

What an emotional chapter, it was sad but so moving too. Emma's little talk to Dean gave him the strenght to fight for his life if it's not for himself, for Sam. The end, when Emma said her goodbye to Sam and that she was right where she need to be, with her son, this was heartbreaking. Beautifully done Terry. Can't wait to know how your story'll end. Terry, hope you're feeling better now.

"You may have lost your hope but don't take his."  Poor Dean is suffering so badly here, ready to give up, yet Emma managed to pull him back so beautifully, reminding him that without him, Sam wouldn't want to get out alive. 

Emma's last moments were so touching, "I'm right where I need to be." I had tears in my eyes. 

The journey up the hallway was terrifying, with the swirling currents, pitch darkness when the candle goes under, the buckled floorboards, not to mention Deans' grasping tentacles!!  You conveyed the struggle, the panic, the horror so well, just like a shipwreck.

At least the boys have made it to the attic and a dry quilt.  I just hope bobby's en route with a cure for Dean, cause that boy's in serious trouble - don't we just love it!!

This story is wonderful, I look forward to each and every update, I can't wait to see what happens, although it's always sad when a good story comes to an end.

What a great chapter, you're so right, there always is hope, but it is very hard to fight sometimes; I just loved Emma, what a wonderful lady! I'm glad there will be at least one more chapter, this story is so good and I really don't want it too end too soon!

Hope the disintegrating body parts are stabilising and you are feeling top of the world again, if not take a nice warm Dean and apply to the affected area twice a day!  Hey, conventional medicine needs al the help it can get and this so works for me.

Oh that was so sad, but beautiful too.  Emma saving hers boys and finally going to be at peace with her lost son. made me cry!

Oh and poor sore tired pissed Dean hating the fucking stairs! Wonderful!
