Ok finally braved it and come back for another read of this haunting tale... Any chance of a continuation to this story. What did the 'demon' thing want with Sam? What happened next to Dean? Is there no hope some baddy would let slip to Dean that Sam is still alive in the hope that information would save him?
Author's Response: Yeah, there's hope for more to this - I hadn't intended it that way, but several people asked. I'm stuck in the middle of buy one get one right now, which is somehow sucking the creative life out of me. If I can finish it in the next day or two, then this is next up! Thanks for the review

Ooooh nasty nasty story - so perfect for halloween. Too believable, too well written. I should want to say well done it's a great story but it's just too much. I need to go away and read something happy now before I cry.

Author's Response: I left it open originally largely as a length requirement issue for Halloween with thoughts to resolve it in a separate story, but yes I have decided to finish it here - just have to wrap up my Weechester first which may take another week. Thanks for reading

Wow! Great story! I can't believe Dean actually left Sam---that somehow he didn't sense Sam was still alive. That was the scariest Halloween story I've ever read because now both Winchesters are alone and broken.

WOW! That was twisted. Definately freaked me out a little. Although you could just leave it there could you write some more? Cookies? Chocolate? Anything that would get you to write at least one more chapter? Hope you do.... it was awesome.

This story was really disturbing. I could really picture everything that was going on. I was glad that Sam was still alive at the end but of course Dean did not know that.

That's it!?!?! You're leaving Sam and us there? Dean in the field devastated!?! My blood ran cold they whole way through. Well written to build tension and yep, huge scary factor. I'm holding my breath waiting...literally holding my breath coz that's where you put us...sure you won't reconsider and make this a multi ch story??? excellent fic, gruesome fiends, tormented Winchester - awesome!
