You write the relationship and behavior b/w the brothers beautifully and realistically.  It was a very sweet story.

Dean is sooooooo regretting that deal right now....he never saw that Sam would suffer as much w/o him as Dean di w/o Sammy...poor guys..

So emotional, and so real.

I like the emotions you've given to Sam in this - its a bit of a departure from a lot of fics, that focus on him running around trying to get Dean out of the deal.

But I think you've captured the total despair he would have been feeling in those first few days beautifully.

Ans so like Dean to not want to leave because of what it would do to his brother rather than the consequences of him being in hell for eternity.

i'm so glad you turned this into more, it just felt right for Dean to continue to support Sammy through the night not just the actual panic attack itself - the aftermath is just as soul destroying.

This was truly the Winchester connection at its best. You wrote with tenderness and understanding, no awkwardness at all.

I love Dean's comment "I hate chick-flick moments, I have panic attacks more' - you gave Sammy pemission to just let go.

Dean having his own anxiety moments and sucking them up was superbly written, weaving and matching them to Sam's emotions as beautifully as you matched their breathing.

This was a stunning reflection on the traumatic aftermath of the deal.

This story is so full of anguish , tenderness, angst, brotherly love and protectiveness- OUTSTANDING!!!!

Sam is so vulnerable and Dean steps right up to the plate to care for him.A true Winchester moment-I love it.!!!!!!!

Wow, straight into the tension from the first word. I could feel Sam heading for this meltdown from your dramatic description in the fisrt paragraph.

You wrote Sam's withdrawal and gradual implosion with emotion and I loved it.  Sammy the opposite of his normal expressive, need-to-communicate self can only be bad. Dean's gentle reaction was beautiful, rocking him to calm him and the link to Sam's childhood safety. And how cute was that "sure you aren't" response to Sam's "m not t'ed" a tender brotherly moment shared, you revealed Dean's real understanding of the torment the deal is having on Sam.

Yep, this one had my heart in a million pieces. Fantastic work.
