This was excellent!  My favorite part was where Caleb and Sam got into it.  Wow!  Sam thinks he's all grown up until someone actually treats him like a grown-up.

This was supercharged with angst and no real resolution.  Just the way I imagined it must have been between the Winchesters.

Hello Ridley, very pleased to meet your work. I am just getting into your BU, and finding my round the history, relationships has been fun. I love the integrity to the show's history and characters in which you meld your world so naturally. It's a new ride for me and I've got the pedal to the metal.

This little one-shot is amazing. Your  parallels, woven throughout your narrative, between the present action and the complex feelings of all our boys, is so clever: "How the hell can I choose a side...he panted as a new surge of pain tore through him, threatening to split him in two...when I'm stuck right in the middle." a superb example - the mirror of Dean's misery over being split in two by being in the middle of the two men he loves the most as they are each others throats. Your description and dialogue proclaimed Deans' depth of despair loud and clear.

John's recollections of Mary triggered by his son's resemlances to their mother was beautiful. Thanks for the trip down John's memory lane and for helping us empathise, remember, when we were feeling angry with him.

I rode the roller coaster of loving, resenting, blaming and understanding all four of these characters at once , especially Sam and John. My heart broke for Dean all the way and I just loved how he sensed when Sam was / wasn't in the room. I always say, for me it's all about the bros connection and any fic that captures this has my undivided attention. You have my undivided attention.

You are the master story teller and the queen of writing the intricate relationship of the Winchesters. To say "thanks" and "well done" feels inadequate, but they are sincere.

This is something old? Where have you been hiding it? I have been "stalking" you through ff.net and thehunterstomb and I've never seen this one....

As always, just a great read. I've said it before, but I'll say it again - the au you have created with the Brotherhood is just stunningly awesome. So fully formed and peopled with fabulous characters.

You have done such a wonderful job her again, examining the dynamics of the relationship between Sam, John, and Dean - just wonderful.

I am of course on alert for the next installment of To The Victor and have been keepin an eye out for Tidia's new one - I will look forward to it for tomorrow!!!!
