Alright, great chapter and can I say that I'm thankful for the person that killed Pullman. I always hate when Dean's forced to kill something human, regardless of how evil that person is. Loved the chapter, loved the story, and I'm waiting for the end. - Kel

Chapter 7 was great. I was really impressed with your knowledge of the medical jargon. I am thinking that John Winchester was the one that took care of Todd Pullman. I also like how you had Jessica finding out about how Sam and Dean's childhood was. I can't wait until Chapter 8.

Wow... powerful and tender at the same time. Dean telling Jess what he could-outstanding!!!!! This is a great story-we get to see other parts of Sam and Dean's life. OK .. now to the Todd Pullman creep...so, I assume that it was another hunter who killed Pullman.. maybe another member of the Winchester family?????? nice shift -nice twist- especially with the no killing humans rule.... So now Dean and Jess have realised that the other IS a significant other in Sam's life. Dean's shock from the previous ch is only magnified by his realisation that Sam HAS a new life. The locked box has a link to the past, as evidence that Sam really can't totally let go of his previous life was a great twist. Jess's trip down memory lane was very sweet. Loved assertive Sam in love. You wrote it with sensitivity and tenderness. Shoulda known Dean would scoop out the intel and boy is that shooter gunna pay - we're all looking forward to that! Very sad picture you paint of Sammy in the hospital bed, and of Dean and Jess's bedside vigil. Thanks for getting these ch's up so quick. This story is fantastic reading even if I find myself forgetting to breathe more often than remembering!
Author's Response: Don't forget to breathe! Prefer to stick to the imaginary variety intubations whenever possible! Thought Dean might be torn between being happy for Sam and finding Sam being happy kind of a kick in the teeth. Thanks so much for the review!

I am so loving this story. I loved this chapter. I loved the flashback of one of Sam and Jessica's dates and the first time that they made love. This is one of my favorite fanfiction to read right now. Keep up the good work. I can't wait until Chapter 7.

These past two chapters have been awesome! Jess finally knows that Sam does have somebody who cares for him and Dean is seing just how much Sam is settled into his new life. Can't wait for your next chapter to see what the neurologist has to say and if Dean gets payback on the one who shot Sammy!

WOW, this chapter packed a punch. Your description reminded us of the bros shared history, how well Dean knows Sam, despite what Jessica thinks. Her initial reaction to Dean bugged the hell out of me, so thanks for their truce, for her understanding which you allowed her to see through Dean's eyes. I loved how Jess was honest with Dean - I don't think his shock and exhaustion would have allowed it any other way. And that wiping of her tears with his thumb, such a classic Dean gesture. For me the pinnicle of this chapter was the re-emergence of Sam the Hunter as seen through Jessica's eyes. We know Sam has the passion and fire of his dad but without John's control. Fuelled by anger and shock he was pushed to his limits and out it came. Not to mention the sheathed knife in the boot - you know we all just loved that! This story just gets better - no lull, no padding out. Each chapter builds and compliments the others. Stunning work! I'm just gunna sit here and wait for ch 6...
Author's Response: OOoh, Thank you! That initial reaction between Dean and Jess was hard for me - wanted to establish her personality as strong since Dean's could easily overwhelm just about anybody! Suspect both boys probably have an arsenal in those boots!

This was an amazing chapter! the repetition had a powerful affect on me. What I loved the most was Sam's chubby fingers and short legs as a child, especially since he's a lanky adult. Little Sammy with Teddy was soooo cute!

I really liked this story. I am glad that Sammy was there to protect Jessica. It totally sucks that he got shot. I am hoping that you have a nice streak in you and decide not to kill Sammy. That would suck even more. Great job!!!!! :)

Chapter 5 was another good chapter. I liked how you revealed the details of Jessica's attack. I liked the end scene with Dean and Jessica. I like that you have Sam being able to take care of himself. At lot of fanfiction that I have read always portrays Sam as being too sensitive and really not being able to take care himself. I can't wait until the next chapter.
