OMG - I LOVE this story - sad to say this was just the Dean whupage fest that I was needing.... What is with that???? Anyway - loved Sammy playing possum to hear what Dean was thinking. Loved what Dean was thinking - of course he figured he'd get more than a year! And if you watch Jensen's eyes when she tells him a year - damn it the guy just contracts his pupils to show how Dean considers his options and then makes his choice - subtle acting just doesn't get much better than that ---- sorry back to YOU!
Loved Sammy pulling Dean out - and dropping the poor guy... Can't wait to find out who is on the other end of the phone....*coughbobbycough*......

Uh Oh! Evil cliffie - so glad the next chapter is already up! Loved Sam's shovelling frenzy, Dean's terrible puns, and this line:
Lost in the memories of all that would never be, of all he had chosen to lose, all he had chosen to gain. *sniff*

Loved the Top Gun reference, and these lines are very perceptive:
He could know his brother a million years, and still Dean could surprise the hell out of him. Dean for his part was trying to box up his inner-Sam before the younger man realised that the older had been learning from him.
