Haha, I kinda liked this cynical Dean you've created. I like him a little more accepting less bitter myself, but don't we all get to that point every now and again? The part about the coffee catching up to him actually kinda tickled me, because it was just too real then, especiallyt he Ah! Relief thought.
I loved the little tension, how they both nearly die and still just get in the car and drive away, cuz yeah, that's their sucky life. I"m a little confused though as to why Dean can't remember what happened after the guy reached for the keys. Did he get grazed by a bullet or thrown to the ground by the cop? Just missed that, I guess. LOL.
