Dean was in charge now, whether he wanted to be or not." Loved this line! All I can say is wow, that was so intense! Yay, Del Villar is dead! I especially enjoyed Carter's point of view of Dean after the fight with Del Villar and how Dean was running on pure instinct to find Sam. And Tim was great too. I hope we see a bit more of him before all this comes to a close. Fantastic job Laura!

AWESOME AWESOME chapter..WOW.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was worth the wait and then some....Del Villar, what a fool...saying that he would keep Sam warn and safe in his bed??????? the man had a death wish. OUTSTANDING writing I could see every move Dean made and feel his tension as he brought Del Villars down -perfect end to a terrible human being!!!! The fight scenes were beyond description, the tension when they reached the sweat box that held Sam captive-unbelievable verbage and tone -FERFECT in every way!!! Now, please post soon- I need to know how Sam is dealing with everything and that Dean is OK. BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, Del Villar's finished with and Sam's been saved. So good to see the boys together again. Hopefully Carter can patch him up as good as new, I think Dean could probably do with a litle patching up himslef. He sure is awesome when he wants to be, loved the Alpha Male bit!! The fight scenes were very impressive, and Dean's desperation to get to Sam and get him out of that box was a real testament to their need for each other. Love the story, don't want it to end but can't wait for the next couple of chapters. It will be good to see the boys back in the Impala and heading for the hills!! Thanks. Jane

I was going slightly mad trying to figure out if Dean was too late to save Sam, judging by all the obstacles he had to face to get to him. but thank god he's ok, they are both ok... hooray!! I don't know how you did it, but you have a powerful way with words and expressions. the way you wrote when Del Villar was baiting Dean about Sam sent a shiver through me, along with how murderous Dean was when he can't get Sam out of the box. it's gonna end?? darn......sigh..

Amazing chapter Bayre. They are all so emotionally charged and powerfully written, but I did wonder how you were going to come down off the climax of the last chapter - waste of energy, of course you had it in hand!!!! This was beautifully written, Dean's reaction to what he had done was perfect. He has taken a human life and it's precisely because he is not the cold blooded killer he fears he is, that he has such a strong reaction. Loved that both boys have their brother's voices in their head - as if they were each other's salvation. So touching! And your descriptions of Sam's physical suffering are vivid and uncomfortable to read... well done !!LOL! But that gem about Dean's flannel shirt... guhhhh!!! Satisfying in a way that I can't even describe, of course Dean had been a constant for Sam at Stanford. Am absolutely glued to this, De Villar actually going to get his hands dirty? By the way, love the descriptions of Dean here - he's the "shield" for Sam and the "Viper" who can't loose for Carter - and through your writing the reader knows what it costs him to live up to all these titles. You really do him justice. Great Chapter.
