Well done you - a fitting end for a very bad man. Now we just need to do the same to the head bad honcho and uncook Sam and get all the victims out of there in one piece. Plenty more to keep everyone occupied for a while longer and still more for me to read - yippee and thanks.

OMG, the boys are in deep this time. Being or no doubt will be used against each other and I'm not betting they will get quality time together to plan an escape or lick their wounds. Just wanted to let you know that this fic has become my new favorite story! I loved it! This is so very true to both Dean (wow, this is a true tough guy, a man who is not afraid to humble himself to protect another, yet capable of doing whatever needs to be done when the time comes), and Sam (a man totally out of his element in a prison environment, yet possessed of the courage to accept Dean's protection without shame, and do whatever he can to keep Dean alive.) If either had tried to bluff their way thru or let pride control them, they would both have died. These are good men, and this is what such an environment is truly like. I am impressed. I also love that I didn't have to constantly correct spelling and grammer all the way through it (in my head). Believe me, that is unfortunately necessary through most fics I read. Thank you again, and keep writing!

Great ending! This was such a wonderful story! And..um..can I say I'm glad Sam didnt get...um...raped...cuz that wouldve been bad...for everyone in that building, except Sam of course...Dean wouldve went CRAZY I think, but anyway, really really good story...but I have a question, probably just me being an airhead, but the whole reason Marlin went after them in the first place was cuz he wanted Sam..in EVERY sense of the word?

Very very happy with Marlins death! After what he did to Sam, I was hoping he would die slowly and painfully, but was kinda afraid Dean wouldnt be able to do it..but this death was perfect! Exactly what I hoped for..now if the other guy could die as good, the boss whos name I cant remember at the moment *shrugs appologetically* :P

Man I love this story! Hmmmm *rubs chin* Wonder what happened between Marlin and Sam? Wonder what that guy behind Sam in the hall way was trying to do? hehe. I dont think either boy would make it in prison cuz they're both so pretty, but Sam would definitely get the worst of it, cuz he looks so cute and innocent. :P

Wow. Very impressive. I find the ending is an interesting blend of the innocence of children and appropriate sense of denouement and the grim reversal of the Beatitude sentiment. Really enjoyed the story.

Bayre, Life has kept me from reviewing the last few chapters, but she has now seen fit to give me a few fleeting free moments. The ending - this chapter - captures so many feelings and nuances of the boys relationship that it breaks your heart at times and at times makes you smile. Dean's overprotectiveness of Sam - his unwillingness to leave Sam in the car alone was spot on to Dean's character. The boys understanding between each other, no secrets, no blame for what happened at the "pen", Sam's reassurance to Dean that he did nothing wrong, his and Sam's self-preservation and Sam's reassurance to Dean that his abouse at the hands of his caputres was all psychological and physical but not sexual abuse. These reassurances the boys needed to verbalize, to wrap themselves around, to heal. Beautiful finish to the story, the Winchesters again saving lives, enabling those saved to start a new life of hope. Your writing is truly a gift. Pook

Good gracious this was the best story I've read in a long time. Fantastic detail, love your writing style, and I have to say, phew, you put me through the ringer on that one. I couldn't sleep last night! Very well done story, fantastic ending, and I would have no qualms if you decided to do a sequel; bringing Marlin's spirit back would be terrifying! totally AWESOME story!!!!!!!!!!! I love the ending....I'm glad Carter found a place to be , to use his skills. Dean will not be letting Sammy stay in the car for awhile...I don't blame him. Throughout the story, the suspense, horror, angst, and action has never dropped. OUTSTANDING writing by a great writer!!!!!! I so loved the ending. Sam and Dean not hidding anything to each other is a great way to start healing. I'm so glad that Carter, Tom and others got away from that hell. That was a dramatic, powerful story, amazing piece of writing Laura.
