I absolutely loved this story! When Sam was calling out "Dad?" when Tom was helping the boys in the woods broke my heart. I love the boy's relationship with Tom, and how much he is like their father. I'm so happy he became a hunter! Lovely ending! A joy to read!

Awesome story! Love Tom and his resemblance to John Winchester. He sure got the two brothers figured out fast. I liked how Dean took to him pretty much right away and how Sam in the end did also. You always keep me going with your fics. Hugs, Vonnie

WOW... ............. AWSOME AWSOME AWSOME STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tom is just what the boys needed in so many ways. Everything about him was what John could have been . It was heartbreaking to see how much Dean related to Tom as "dad". Dean was at his best in "big brother"mode. It was a pleasure to see Dean actually relate to a non hunter and really like the person. You have woven this story so perfectly that it all just flowed and made the reader feel just great!!!! I was totally excited when I saw the additional chapters - you made my day!!!!! The bar was tooo cool!!!! Down time with the Winchesters and friends...even Debra..got to love it. OUTSTANDING piece of work-kudos to you for an incredibly wonderful story. Since I couldn't review on fanfiction.net I came here to let you know how much I enjoyed your story. I thought the boys developing relationship with Tom was great and I loved all the limp!Sam. I was sorry to see the it end. I look forward to your next story!

Trained as a soldjer from childhood and more than 10 years expereance hunting Dean's not stupid or sloppy in confrunting evil and never incompatant and often plays out as the hero, nor is he lazy doing his share of investigating, simply not the same way Sam does. Dean is hot headed over zellos and occationaly shortsighted but NEVER STUPID! Sam can be sactimoneous, intilectualy arrigant and selfish but he is never juvinil, petulent or winy. We love flawed heros, perfect one are boring but please girl I love these boys the way they are don't recreat them. Oh and proof read. (sorry dysexic and no spell cecker)

It basically means Dean likes to have fun, while Sam take everything way to serious. I love these boys, and this show. Guess you have to read between the lines sometimes. Cute ending to a great stroy. Loved the way you had Sam use "the look" on Tom, loved it even more that Tom fell for it. "Oh yea, you aint seen nothing yet" -what a hoot, Tom thinks he knows the boys, well just let him watch now that Sam's not too sick and Dean's in full throttle. Fantastic sory, thanks heaps, I've enjoyed the ride.

WOW!!!!!!!! i can't get enough of this story.It's GREAT!!!!!!!!!! Tom has earned a place in my heart for taking care of the boys. He's really a good man. I love how he came back at the doctor for being so nasty to Dean, and glaring at Sam. His parting words to the doctor said it all. I hope you use him again with the boys- they make a great
