I am loving the story so far. Very intrigued as to what John has done to Dean to earn such hatred from Sammy. So many mysteries to unfold and I can't wait to read more. Great job!
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the first chapter. I always thought that the strain between Sam and John went much farther than just simply moving around too much and the whole college business. So, I sat down and thought about what could make Sam hate his father. This is the end product. There are loads of mysteries, and I'm hoping to throw in a lot of twists. Hopefully no one will read too far into my foreshadowing hint. Thanks for reading.

Great beginning! Enjoy the sullen teen-age Sam and the fun family dynamic. I love Grazed Knees and I know I'll love this as well. Not very much is written specifically for John.
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the beginning. Hopefully I can keep it interesting. Oh, sullen Sam is fun to write - although not as much fun as Wee!Sam but that's okay. Although, nothing is more fun than writing about John. Love him to pieces. Oh, the last chapter of GK should be up this week, so look out for that.

So far so good. You have a great way of grabbing a reader's attention right off the bat and then going back and filling in the details. I love that. Don't forget about GK!

Great start setting the first part at the hospital with John without any recall of the facts and Sam angry at him. Let`s see if John attacked Dean or he was injured while protecting Sam. Please don`t take long to post the next chapter.
