love the conversation between John and Bobby in the cafeteria. It would be nice to see a little bit of Jealous!John. And Sam "protecting his young" was written really well.

The doctor telling Sam about his own family seemed a bit strange though. And when John told Lilith she had "tortured his son....." the wording didn't quite sound like John. He was back to himself when he grabbed her wrist.

Still LOVE the story!

Author's Response: tossed the dr part in for my son, that's his alter ego.  it was all for him. John was trying to make a point, that's why he said what he said, that's all.
