I think this is a great idea---a great story!  I thought it was kind of hinky that John got one of his friends killed during a hunt.  NOt only that, but he never bothered to mention it to his sons.  Thanks for filling in those gaps.

This was a really interesting and new take on the whole John/Roadhouse thing. Like the werewolves taking prisoners story too, that could be a plot in itself. Great work!
