Dean's deja vu moment was in my face as I read this! Holy smoke! (no pun intended!) I had the visual of Dean's face at that moment, heck Sam's words "take him and go!" - no wonder Dean froze for that nanosecond. Obviously Sam is oblivious to the impact these words would have had on his bro.
And your gorgeous words "cradling the small treasure in his arms" only matched by "again carrying a treasure" - thanks for a peek over Dean's wall.
Cute hair singed concept! Loved how you made me giggle at the boys reaction.

lol, V...I love how you counteract the truly sad happenings with such amusement at the end...lovely stuff. Love it! Definitely shows them as heroes...lol...you should write a story about people thinking they're superheroes....lol... you could totally dress them up in tights...

Glad you enjoyed my contest entry. I really, really loved doing the dramatic part. Then the whole haircut thing came to me and I could literally hear Dean giving Sammy a hard time. (((smile))) Figured that was a good way to end it.
