I'll keep this short and sweet. I loved this story.

And although I usually tell you my favorite parts, I can't do that this time because both stories were so great that I like all of both of them.

I do have a question, though? Would you ever consider writing a sequel to this story?

Even if it's only a small chapter fic or a really long one-shot?

I'd really love to see Regular-Sam spending some time with AU-Dean and AU-Sam while Regular-Dean is in hell.

I like Regular-Sam being with the AU brother's a lot better than him being alone or led around by that b***h Ruby.

Hope to hear from you soon, Laina.

Author's Response:

Hi, Laina,

Ohh, dear.....another plot bunny....

I had toyed with the idea of having au-Gordon make an appearance in "our" universe with au-Sam and Alyssa, but hadn't gone much further than that.

And yes, know what you mean about Ruby. She very skillfully manipulated Sam all during season four and most of season three, insinuating herself between the brothers and driving that huge wedge between them - with the helo of the angels.

And his shame at being so thoroughly duped, having his own intelligence used against him - I really felt for Sam at the end there, and all through season five when he was trying so hard to fix the mess he'd created.

Once again you have blown me away with one of your stories!   I read this, along with Class Dismissed some time ago and just read them both again today.  It was just as wonderful the second time around, thanks sharing this great adventure with us!

Author's Response:

Thanks, Marcia,

Wow, these were a long read, especially together - lol. You are right - you do read fast!

I had fun with In Dreams, but it was also a bit of a complicated chess game as well, with double the Winchesters and making sure I kept them straight in my head. Because while they were essentially the same, there were small differences, the main one being that au-Sam was not as strong emotionally as 'our' Sam, even though his abilities far exceeded Sam's. And of course, with a little brother so vulnerable, his big brother was more protective and allowed more 'touchy-feely crap' than the Dean in this reality.

But still, two Deans, two Sams....I must admit I was in heaven. And then of course it was fun blowing them all up! ROFL!

Thanks so much for your wonderful review. I'm thrilled that you're enjoying my work so much.

Have a great Easter.

yes...I figured it was Au Sam..Just don't know how he's going to pull it together.

Author's Response:

You're right, Lelie, it's Au-Sam who's the secret weapon.

And the switch....will be thrown in the next chapter.

Hope you're enjoying the double trouble so far.

*GASP*  OH NO!!

Author's Response:

Ah, you found the sequel, eh? Hope that you enjoyed Class Dismissed.

Oh, no indeed. Both little brothers snatched by the demons. But don't worry, there are two awesome big brothers not too far away.

And of course, a demon waiting outside for them.......

Author's Response:

Thanks, hun. Have I sent you this one? Not sure if I have. Glad you liked four Winchesters - lol. It was a bit hard to juggle them at times, but I got there in the end.

Hope your back pain is easing off, now.

From a die hard fanatic. . .i hope you don't mind me calling you jewels. i'm scared to say that some how your stories have eiased most of the numb pain that i still keep having.

As if we may have knonw each other for a long time. . .man if there real was a way to get to another reality. I'd hope and pray that i would be able to meet you and thank you personaly.

This story is like me being sam all broken still and nothing can fix it, but my other half. I don't know what to say but i do love this and respect it. . .? is the first one and then comes Broken Images followed by the pre-quql of broken images? Thanks for everything, please say hello to that sweet kitty of yours and tell'em that she has a die hard fan of hers. Love you kitty. SORRY, if i sound weired.

my rating is simply PRICELESS and GOLD. Better then a numeric number. . .

Author's Response:

No, that's fine. Everyone calls me Jules. Even my boss.

I'm glad that my stories could ease some of your grief. It's not easy what you are going through, and I can fully understand since I have lost loved ones myself, and know first-hand how much of a hole they leave in your heart and your life.

I will say hello to the old girl when I bring her home from the vet's.

And thank you so much for reading and letting me know what you thought. I'm really touched that you got so much out of the story that you could relate to.

Take care,

JERK. . . hahahaha. . .for a fanatic a stay satisfied with more then 22 chapters to a book or story that captivaites my mind and linger through to find better ways that the team can accomplish the commitment and give you an idea, but that idea of the double twins to tell the AU- WINCHESTER as cleaver and well preparied and that is what a writer that has a tendacy to minuver a position to a reader to ask for more thanks. You are my favorite.

Author's Response:

Thank you for that, Ivonne.

I had fun most times playing with four Winchesters, although it really got rather difficult during the scene in Bobby's basement, trying to keep it straight in my head where everyone was.

I just had to picture the scene as a huge chess game, and remember where all my pieces were.

Thank you to all 4, but that comment of keeping her SANE don't buy it. . .cuzz that is what is making lagit her wonderful writing that may one day be in the next BEST PROFESIONAL WRITERS GUILD. . . if no one reader has said anythng to any of you or as DEAN said . . ."we don't even get thanked nor paid. . ." well i hope that that dream one day comes true to all of you and i will die happily . . .BITCH'S. . . yeah yeah i know JERK . . .hahahaha. . .thanks once again in keeping miss thing here stable with not one friend but many . . . including a FANATIC.

Author's Response:

Thank you. I'm glad that I could help in some small way.

And thank you for reading. I think, though, that I'll stay an amateur -writing professionally seems a bit like too much hard work - lol.

That isn't the point. . .its the two small dwarfism that is the concern.

I like the lymric role play that you place on the 4 WINCHESTERS. . . ? can you ask your friend for me if this statment means anything . . . dominus deus sabaoth benedictus qui venit. . .inomine domine sactus demi dei pleni sunt coeli et terra.

a friend showed it to me, and i don't know where. thanks sweety. I'd like to learn the old writings and readings like this. I even know that damned demonic spell ritual.

Author's Response:

Sorry, but my friend doesn't actually speak Latin - she downloaded the Latin exorcism document from a website. So while it has both the Latin and English words, it isn't a translation programme.

I know - or think - that terra is earth, but that's about all.

Author's Response:

I do love my evil cliffies. LOL. And I have to admit, that was one of my better ones.

But at least with the story finished, you didn't have to wait a week to see what the result of the explosion was. That's a good thing, right?

LOL

Thanks for the heads up to the stories i will become to there true fanatic.

It has bee wickedly unexpected that the toll that SAM has to encounter once again and be able to keep his emortal soul in line for this meeting with the thing that almost killed me and face it once again

Author's Response:

Not a problem. Always happy to recommend good stories.

Yes, it is going to be tough for Au-Sam to face the demon again, but he's determined to go for all his fears. Damned Winchester stubbornness  - times four - lol.

Thanks so much for reading.

the acion setting of how turner was caught is well developed her in this episode.

I do enjoy the funny antics of the young twins doing a some what clever smack down on there elder siblings. That was a very clever prank.

? does that mean AU-SAM is regaining what he has lost to; also  haveing to find away to do what Dean does as to protect Sam like AU-DEAN and /or Dean does and not allow them to their duty?

Author's Response:

Thank you, Ivonne. It was great, actually, to be able to go back and flesh out the characters of Jeremy Turner and Danny Boyle a bit more. I didn't quite have enough time in Class Dismissed to concentrate on everyone - I stuck mainly with Sam, Dean and Alyssa.

Oh, you liked the escalation of the prank war? Pity Au-Dean came out of the shower when he did - they might have pulled it off - LOL.

And yes, Au-Sam is finding his way back from the darkness he has been stuck in since the demon attack. Both twins are gaining lots of good stuff from being around each other.

Do me a favor Jul's. . .please tell your friend Valnik. . .that she will soon have a dye hard fanatic on her tell. . .this is an outragous story and i love it thanks.

? how are you able to referance certain episode that has happened to Sam from the show and direct it to both AU & Deans brother Sam?

Is it that you go back to certain series to also use as referance? How are the both of you? Say hi to sweetness or the kitten. . .thanks.

Author's Response:

Vallana? I will tell her. Sadly, she doesn't write any more, which is a great pity. Her story Ice Cold was awesome.

As to how I'm able to reference certain episodes - I'm just a detail person, so things like that tend to stick in my memory. Probably a lot to do with my being a bookkeeper, and needing to have every single dollar accounted for and balanced off. And I do go back to certain episodes to refresh my memory of what happened and what they were saying/feeling.

Antique kitten is at the vet at the moment - she took a bad turn overnight. Hopefully I'll get her back home in the morning. Thank you so much for asking.

The scene to this chapter is very captivating. . .the usage of a third person intregued me as both DEAN complain on how a demon had tossed both of them alike as if tossing salads.

The improvment towards the action of AU-SAM protecting not only himself but as well as twin and in circling his thoughts of what hunting was all about, but what will SAM's reaction be when he is in alert phase.

It is also a great defeat on the true reactin of how Helen, Bobby and Ash have been able to except the cape quadroples of the WINCHESTER's.

WOW, this is THEATER for you of ROYALTY. Thank you.

Author's Response:

Sorry, Ivonne - for some reason the site logged me out, and I've been too busy to log back in - usually I leave myself logged in to save time. Must be a time-out thing. Oh well...

So glad you liked the chapter. Yes, Au-Sam's beginning to step up to the plate now that his twin is around. His buried deep feelings of wanting to protect people are coming to the surface, and of course with Sam hurt, his au twin has managed to break through his own fear and fight for both of them.

very clever in the decet of how these venomus demons may think they have the upper hand. I admire this piece. Thanks.

Author's Response:

Yes, the demons think they have all the cards. But they keep forgetting that they're dealing with Winchesters.

There's a battle brewing...

How does yor mind work and comprehend on how to wirte this wonderfull bonding fixture with the DEAN's to trust each other and allow there sibling to fix each other. . . this should turn into a classic black and white movie. The secen that i love the most is the SAM connection. . .then 2ndly the reaction that DEAN sense and imagens to that fear of anything happening to Sam and AU-DEAN explained to him what he had gone thru and to be ready for anything.

Author's Response:

Ah, well, my mind's a freaky place sometimes. And let's face it - I've got excellent material to work with. Thank you, Masters Kripke, Ackles and Padalecki.

The Sam connection - I worked very hard to get the two younger brothers' growing bond just right. I'm so glad that you're enjoying that aspect of the story so much.

this is a very powerfula nd sentimental value. Its IRONY of having AU-Sam show bothy Deans the travisty of the scares and also demenstrating that he is able to fight and also finaly understand the notes that SAM told him that DEMONS lie.

Author's Response:

Yes, our Sam is getting through to Au-Sam, and giving him hope that one day he will be fixed - perhaps not the physical scars but the emotional ones will heal. Letting both big brothers see the physical scars was a huge step.

More little brother moments in the next chapter.

The image that you foresee in the episode of the gym and having Dean place the equpiment ahead of tiume was very out of it, but i guess this was the only way to help AU-SAM get his self estime in line and i like it.

Author's Response:

Thank you. I was trying to come up with somewhere the demons would stash both Sams and have them pretty much secured - the gym, with all that new equipment, just seemed the perfect place for a prison, and a showdown.

NO!!! shit it is ramped up as HELL. NEVER MESS WITH A WINCHESTER, weather there is a single copy or more they are more INVINSABLE then ever.

This is so exciting and i can basiclly see myself there with them.

Author's Response:

Nope, never mess with a Winchester, especially when there are two carbon copies in the immediate vicinity. The demons don't quite understand yet that double the Winchesters is way more than double the trouble.

i really can't concieve how you can hand 4 WINCHESTERS. . .YES< i'm a bit jelouse you have two of my favorite, but one is broken and the other is but not much. I do respect this story very much and its 4:21 a.m. and i should slep and rest. I would lie to you if i say i can sleep well when i can't . . . its hard, it hurts, and i miss both of them. So, reading your material is allowing me to tire myself and sleep with your stories in mind. . .THANK YOU.

Its brilliance and even EVIL when you toy with the YOUNG WINCHESTERS and have two DEMONIC DORKS attend to their evil plane. Don't ever change, give the SWEETY ROYAL KITTEN of ours a gental hug and peck, and i hope both of you are doing well.

Author's Response:

LOL - it wasn't easy, I can tell you. I had Class Dismissed open while I was writing this one, and kept referring back to the AU brothers just to keep their slight differences correct.

And it's understandable that it still hurts - that grief is still very, very fresh for you. Give yourself time, and do what you need to do, don't force it. When my grandfather died, all I could handle for a couple of days was sitting at the computer doing jigsaw puzzles. Grief does funny things to the mind.

And thanks, Her Royal Highness is doing much better. She's eating properly again and being her usual noisy self.

no this was cleaver to the awaiting part at hand. along with the aspect of SAM feeling more burden to telling his equal and equal sibling the truth what really happened. Thanks, im loving it.

I'm glad you're loving it, and the interaction between the two younger brothers. That's going to become very important in later chapters.
