Just noticing this one now. Very interesting and intriguing so far. That "kill the boy" thing was creepy as hell.
FYI - Dean and Sam would have been 12-13 and 17 in April of 1996. (Being born January '79 and May '83).

I very much enjoyed the information on Buddhist teachings. I like to read stories that educate me in some way.
There are lots of interesting little clues in this chapter. I guess I'll have to wait and see if I've added two and two correctly.

I like that Father Gomes isn't the stereotype dotty, benevolent priest. You made him seem like a man who truly cares about his congregation.

So many good lines in this story. Dean working out to Denise Austin is a picture I can't get out of my head!
Using Sam's point of view for the past and Dean's for the present is an ingenius technique

This is a very cool story. Love how you are moving back and forth in time. I'm really curious to find out what happened in 96.... Dean possessed by a spirit perhaps? And what's with the spooky "kill the boy"??? Looking forward to the next chap!!

Nice start, am curious on how the story would play out....
Can't imagine Dean being a sports buff, following exercise steps in front of the TV, even with a hot bod to follow, watching maybe!!! Funny pic running in my mind! lol!
