I enjoyed the story that explains Bobby's protectiveness toward Dean and how he got into hunting. I always wondered what tragedy introduced Bobby to the supernatural.
I especially love the falshbacks of baby Dean with his parents. Sooo sweet!

I think you're right about Margaret. I think even with her peers appreciating Dean, it's going to take a 15 pound sledge to get the point across.
So in your version, Bobby gave Dean the necklace. Interesting. that could be a one-shot in itself.
I think you should do a Weechester. You capture the past so well, and you're writing style is perfect for it! Even though Sam and Dean are adults in this, you give us glimpses of the little kids in them.
Love that Bobby makes them sleep on the porch (and John's comment about him getting soft in his old age).

honestly, i'm totally shocked you didn't have john beat the shit out of bobby for saying what he did about someone needing to be dean's father, although i totally agree coz john never was much of one. The fight was amazing and i thought it was really cool how you had mostly frank talk them down...suprised it wasn't all sam. this was a great chapter and i'd love to see what comes next

cruel way to end the chapter but i absolutely loved it. Bobby's memory was really good but John's was my favorite for two reasons other than it was just awesome. The first being the part about Dean thinking the car swallowed his father and the other being the whole thing about the meaning of ass. I'm still laughing at that. Can't wait to see what happens next. this is a great story.

I very much enjoyed the journal entries! I even enjoyed Margaret's insults to Dean because they woke Frank up.
I can't imagine what's left for seven more chapters after all that's already happened.
