Great update. You got me intrigued Rae. Loved the flashbacks. Why Halloway wanted so much that John's sons were there too for the hunt. Dean said the Halloway was a sick guy, can't wait to learn more about him and that hunt.

I really love this. it's very well thought through and - a flashback within a flashback! Also love the 'half asleep Dean', and the dialogue is spot on. Update very soon, I'll be looking for it!

It's nice to get a new story from you Rae, especially when the end of Death Markers is coming. Dean's amulet... It's been disturbing me too. I can't wait to see what's gonna be your version of its meaning. So, I'm liking the idea :)

Likin' this, Rae! Y'know, that amulet is curious...I think it's going to be explained on the show, but until then, fire away!!!! I'd love to read about your ideas on the subject...especially in the form of one lovely Dean Winchester. And his amulet. 'Cause, the amulet's important too. Right.

Yeah - I heard about them trying to fit the amulet into season 3 so I wanted to get this up (the idea's been bugging me for aaaagggges now ) before they started explaining. And the lovely Dean Winchester - he is absolutely lovely isn't he? - and his amulet, such big plans for them :D When I thought up the idea, it was a toss up between doing it all in the past or include flashbacks from the present... but I love present Dean so much... :D Thank you for reading!

Good job Rae! I really liked how their vacation goes from one week to half a week to a couple of days. Then, of coarse, they lose it all together. I also loved the referrence to "Bloody Mary." You really have my curiosity peaked! What could possibly be such a precise killer and take three men to hunt it...hmmm? I love reading stories fresh off the press, but hate having to wait for the next chapter! :-(

I had the first chapter wrote but went over it again last night and ended up adding the vacation gettin smaller and smaller before I posted it - and since you mentioned it, I'm glad I did now :D And Bloody Mary, lol - no one can get away with breaking that many mirrors, surely?
