Hey, Vanessa I'm finally getting caught up on your shaggy dog story;-) I like that Dean found a nice cop - he's so adept at finding the other kind - to help him in his quest for Sam. And your doggy thoughts seemed pretty believable - but I'm a cat person, so I guess you gotta take that with a grain of salt. I didn't find this last chapter at all boring, just a lot of Determined!Dean and lost puppy Sam, so no tomatoes, although, wait, isn't a tomato bath a remedy for a skunk encounter? Sue

Awe Ness, this story really is the sweetest thing, it's past midnight and I was off to bed but HAD to stop and R&R it as soon as I'd seen you'd posted. this story just keeps getting better and better. I just laugh out loud at some of the things doggy Sam is doing...tooo many years with dogs and their varied interests. EXCELLENT job!!! Dean and the sherriff-too funny- especially in the diner. you are a master at using the perfect words to paint your vivid pictures- my video mind is loving this. AWESOMR work!!!!!!! MORE PLEASE!!!! Author's Response: I'm so happy that you still like this story. Would hate to think I'm boring everyone to death. There's just something about Dean's response when random people are so nice to him that intrigues me. Quite often he has that befuddled, somewhat uneasy, look that just makes me want to hug him. Oh, and regarding the Cal/Niko books--I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that you like the first one so far!!! The similiarities between them and Supernatural are wonderful and helped turned me into a bigtime Cal/Niko fan. I'm just getting ready to start Chapter 2 of my first Cal/Niko fanfic. :-)

Love the description of what might go on in a dog's mind. I have two of them and the stuff they find interesting amazes me. The more gross something is the better they like it. I can't remember if I've reviewed any of these chapters (totally lazy butt) or not but this has been a very enjoyable story. I look forward to more! ;)

Sammy dog is scared, Dean is miserable and the weather is awful... I don't want to push but I'm already waiting for the next chapter and I hope they'll find each other soon. Despite all angst, I liked this chapter. After I had read this, I was almost surprised when I looked outside and didn't see rain or storm, lol. Visual writing Ness, as always. Thanks for the update.
